Congrats to Humanity

Well, I just got the news. It takes a little bit to get to me all the way out here so this might come a bit late, but it sounds like you all got that whole Thargoid mess dealt with. You're taking out Titan after Titan by the sounds of it, and according to the last news report I got you've got the last one pretty much surrounded. I imagine by now, you've probably already killed it, so congratulations on your successful genocide of an alien species. If there's one thing humanity is good at, it's mass slaughter. Anyway, life out here has been good. The Stardreamer is a comfortable little Dolphin. I set this baby up to be the perfect little mobile home, with all the luxuries and amenities I'm used to. Who needs civilization, am I right? And here I was afraid for a minute there wouldn't be any bubble left to come back to, once upon a time. I guess that's nothing to worry about now. I might even do another tour of Sol when I get back. I've seen a lot of earthlikes out here, but pretty quick you realize that the definition of "earthlike" is pretty broad. I've seen some downright hellholes that are technically classified as earthlikes. Nothing quite beats the real thing, you know. There's a reason they don't let just anyone live there. Beautiful place, at least now, you know, after they fixed it up. But that's all ancient history. Humanity has learned a thing or two since then and I doubt anything could seriously ruin that planet now, what with how secure it is and how environmentally draconian its protectors are with their various laws. Take it from me, that's not a place where you want to litter. You thought blocking the mail slot was bad? You haven't seen Mother Gaia's Environmental Protection Force mobilize against a casual litterer. My God, they're merciless. I think they get bored. Not a lot of action in Sol these days, so when they do have something to do, they get all gung-ho about it. Not like out in Colonia, where it seems every day is someone's idea of hell. But that's what you get for living out beyond the frontier. You know, I was considering coming out of retirement for a bit to help my Canonn friends out with a bit of a problem out there, but it looks like they got that under control just fine. So, nothing much more to do than keep relaxing out in the middle of nowhere with my Tectonicas Tacos and other delicacies created by the culinary alchemist that is the Stardreamer's automated kitchen.

I imagine by the time I get back, someone will have figured out how to grill up Thargoid meat. I don't know how that would taste. I don't generally find the flavor of ammonia very appetizing, but you know, these days I'm sure someone will be into it.
Do you like it?
