The Pilgrimage to Colonia

After a hard fought battle of the Sol system, as well as a hearty Christmas celebration, I have decided to mount an expedition out to Colonia. Having never been out that far from the Core Systems, it filled me with tremendous excitement to make that mighty pilgrimage when I boarded my newly acquired fleet carrier. The fleet carrier Mittlerer Greif, which is in service of the Grand Duke of the Badia system, has served me well on the first quarter leg of the journey.

Today I have reached deep into unexplored space. I have decided to start surveying systems on my way to the destination. My priority so far has been to look for habitable worlds, as well as good terraforming candidates. As I was scanning a system off the beaten path, I came across a dwarf planet orbiting a brown dwarf of a trinary system. Seeing that it had biological features I decided it would be best to map the little planetoid, and determine if I could make some credits. Low and behold the conditions on this planetoid were just right for the species Stratum Tectonicas. Having been the first Commander to catalogue this particular species I stand to make roughly seventy six million credits from the Stratum alone. I am looking forward to what more I might discover out here on my way to Colonia, and what is to come in the new year.
