Adventurous Nomad Co-Operative (ANC0)
A flotilla of roaming wanderers pursuing unique and memorable co-op adventures throughout the galactic sandbox.

We are super friendly and recruiting active & dedicated pilots who like to do things as part of a team. We're especially seeking those who bring creative ideas and energy to the group...we want people who want to DO things and actively contribute/participate. Our flat organizational structure allows any individual or group to easily jump right into the action and plug into whatever role they want to be in. We want to be a small brotherly community, not a squadron with a 150 man roster but only 3 people actually playing.

Oftentimes pilots seeking a new squadron must choose between generic cookie-cutter groups, or a squadron focused on very specific singular themes, but then you're basically committing to 1 task for your entire career. This group is for pilots seeking tailored experiences and also team-ups with other themed groups, but instead of getting locked in forever, we move on to the next thing afterwards.

CORE VALUES

Co-operative: Our main focus is promoting team-oriented co-op group play. We enjoy wearing headsets and flying in wings where the wingmen are all working together on the same objective. Sure, we may also go off and do our own thing in solitude from time to time, but our primary reason for joining the squadron is to interact with each other and do interesting things together as a team.

Adventurous: We of course enjoy doing all the typical tasks and content that Frontier provides, but we also see the galaxy as an open sandbox where we can create our own adventures and stories beyond just “collect all the things” and “get all the money”. We take pride in planning and executing numerous player-crafted, customized missions of all shapes and sizes.  We look for ways to interact with the story lore, influencing BGS politics, and role-playing. We enjoy experimentation, trying out wacky new schemes, and finding fun with unique ship builds of all types.

Player Agency: Everybody has equal voice & standing in determining the direction of the team. Our pilots decide their own roles and change them as they wish, and have no artificial barriers restricting their participation. Everyone’s encouraged to contribute their own unique skills and interests, as much or as little as they wish. There’s no membership requirements, no hierarchy ladder to climb, no special class of individuals dictating down to others. 

Community Interaction: Many squadrons are isolationist and inward-facing; we are the opposite. There are 500,000 monthly active pilots in the Milky Way, all pursuing different goals and interests, sometimes in collaboration and sometimes in competition. We actively welcome and seek out communication, positive engagement, and joint activities with the myriad groups that make up our diverse and vibrant galaxy. It IS an MMO, after all.

Nomadic Lifestyle: Why spend a lifetime tethered to a single home system when there is an entire galaxy to be experienced? As nomads, our flotilla arrives in a region, we scope it out, and perhaps we settle in for a bit as we explore what opportunities it offers; maybe we find ourselves immersed in the local cultures and happenings. But inevitably, there will come a time when we begin to feel restless, we start to think maybe this region is “tapped out”, we feel the call of the unknown beyond. And so we pack up our things, raise the anchors, and press onwards in search of the next grand adventure.



ORGANIZATION CHART    *To volunteer to lead a mission, simply send request to Squadron Commander.

Squadron Commander: Oversees the group and performs the administrative & organizational tasks to keep things running smoothly.

Active Wing Leader: A temporary designation signaling that this individual is currently leading a specific mission.

Wingman: This is base designation for all our pilots. Pretty much everyone is a wingman until they decide otherwise.

Rookie: New pilots just beginning their careers can opt in to show they're still learning the basics. 

Reserve: These are players who’ve been inactive over the last 30 days.  Upon their return they are reinstated into active status.
