The Harutyunyan lineage dates back to Old Earth 21st century when the Armenian kingdom sent its two generation ships out into the void. King Artur travelled with his family and many of his people on the ships Vanadzor and Jermuk. Contact failed quickly and the two ships were lost to the ages. For more than a thousand years, no word has come to humanity of the fate of the missing.

In 2109, after 35 years of sundered communications, the lost king's cousin Narek was chosen to lead the Armenians forward. It is his descendent - King Raymond - who guards all our futures today. Our King is a true King but he knows that the elder line of Kings might one day step down from the void. King Raymond, like his ancestors, makes the one oath to his people that he will give way to the descendants of Artur should they step out of the pages of history and join their kin in Umat.
