Join Black Widow Today!

Black Widow began as a corporate-structured, Federation-aligned PMC called Dynamic Federal Acquisitionsprivateering under an organizational letter of marque from Felicia Winters. Recognizing that sometimes aid packages and propaganda aren't enough to win hearts and sway minds, they supported Shadow President Winters' objectives through focused and organized combat support (i.e.: privateering) in strategic areas.  It wasn't long before privateering turned into full-on piracy and the Office of the Shadow President rescinded their letter of marque.

Disenfranchised and disillusioned by the Federation, the DFA leadership team decided to reject any form of government or law not of their own making.  To further their own cause of freedom, the re-imagined Black Widow organization threw its support behind the independent power of the Pirate King, Archon Delaine, seeing his Kumo Nation as their best shot at true freedom.  And through organized, focused effort, we have seen our territory grow.  As of this writing, Black Widow PMF controls 32 star systems, 132 stations and 333 settlements , with a growing presence in 57 more star systems.

While we began on PS4 in 2017, we are now actively recruiting on PC!

We prefer that our CMDRs be aged 18 and over.  Members as young as 16 may be considered after an assessment interview on Discord.

The PMF's home system is Arakwibut.  We will expect our CMDRs to keep up with our current BGS & Powerplay objectives on Discord and to Pledge to Archon Delaine when they're finished shopping for modules from the other Powers.

Who We Are:

Pirates:  In addition to fighting off incursions from enemy CMDRs, we also enjoy the most honorable pastime of piracy - both PvP and PvE.  We can teach you how to do both, and while it might not be the best CR/hour in the game, it's certainly the most fun!

Warriors:  They say that the cannon is the final argument of kings, and Archon Delaine has taught us all that we are the kings and queens of ourselves first and foremost.  This is why we patrol our spacelanes on Open Play, looking for CMDRs who would seek to challenge the sovereignty of the Kumo Nation and undermine the freedoms that we as Independent pilots hold dear!

Mercenaries:  Black Widow understands that in order to maintain firm control on our territory and burn down the empires that other factions have built, we need to be proficient not just in space but also on the ground.  We have several experienced foot mercs ready to help you learn the ropes of Odyssey combat and get you ready not just for the High Intensity Ground Conflict Zones, but also prepare you to dominate any enemy CMDR you might encounter on the ground.

Traders:  The Spider has need of Traders now more than ever before.  Join us to learn how you can not only make billions of CR through 'above board' Trade, but also how to safely smuggle the most profitable Black Market goods and have an immense impact on our operations at the same time.

Explorers:  Did you know that CMDRs have still explored less than 1% of the galaxy?  There are, in fact, some things Black Widow would like to find - like Selenium crystal shards, for just one example.  If Exploration is your passion, we have a home waiting for you here!

Bounty Hunters:  Speaking of CR/hour, we know how to make money (and farm Grade 5 engineering materials) in the quickest way the game offers and you don't necessarily even need to be in a Large ship to do it.  Let us teach you how to earn CR for your Fleet Carrier in just a few days and never worry about credits again!

How to join:

It's pretty simple, really.

Apply to join the Squadron in-game.
Put in a Join Request here on Inara.
Join our Discord server.

We're not here to restrict how you play the game. At no time will you be required to do a thing inside the game. It's your free time, you paid for the game to relax and have fun, and we want you to do exactly that. We're here to play the game together and influence the overall Powerplay and Background Simulation strategy games as best we can along the way.

The only firm requirement is that you not work against our goals - so if you're grinding merits to get another faction's weapons, we can advise you how best to do so in a way that doesn't hurt us. Undermining another enemy's systems, for example, and not Delaine's. Common sense, right?
