.....or we bring democracy to your outpost....

Rooted in the Alliance conviction, that people should be ruled by common interest, mutual benefit and laws passed by elected organs, and that every stable society should be left alone within its realm, that aggression is vile, and defence is honourable, we focus on supporting minor democracies and cooperatives against the tyranny of corporate influence and aggressive autocrat powers.
Closest to our heart are naturally the
Gateway Workers for Equality, the only democracy left in Gateway, the Alliance´s central administration hub.
Buffing trade, spreading the idea of the Alliance by distributing convincing contracts and laws, and gathering exploration data for the benefit of democratic and cooperative factions are our main methods of ensuring the working people´s political voice, but we are not above earning loads of corporate money to aqcuire the means to do so, or getting our hands dirty in the the front lines to robustly defend against aggressors. However, we very much prefer to deal with certain trustworthy, well-meaning companies that have a reputation of firmly supporting the Alliances ethics and policies, or at the very least sell a decent brew. Agressive agents, corrupt corporations, militarist governments: You may find the common man is not so docile.

Working people of the galaxy: You produce the wealth, you deserve the vote!

General guidelines:
We also accept non-Inara members, so the squadron may be slightly larger than it appears
We also welcome new players. The Galaxy is a harsh place, you need the solidarity of fellow workers. A commander alone is lost in the void.
We do this for fun. We all have a real life and real jobs and real families and friends that are the no.1 priority.  Keep that in mind.
We don´t take things overly serious. This is supposed to be relaxation, much like reading a book or watching a movie. In-game success is optional, motivation is good, peer pressure is suspicious. Relax. Everyone does what he wants or can, or feels like at the moment.
We believe we have a sense of humour stashed away somewhere between spare parts and rare materials. Take everything here with a grain of salt, there may well be a few percent of satire in the mix.
