History of the Squadron
With a primary objective on Reconnaissance and Exploration, the squadron name is a hat-tip to the Royal Air Force founded toward the end of Earth's World War I. The motto of the RAF was "Through Adversity to the Stars" and the founder traced their family line back to Squadron 253, which served as reconnaissance during World War II. Their radio callsign during missions was VICEROY.

Current Missions
The squadron is battle-ready, traveling through the stars watching for threats, both domestic (human) and foreign (Xeno), and believes that the Thargoids are not the only potential threat we face. Through the stars, we find adversity, which brings an infinite loop to our grounding roots.
