Task Force 13 is a covert organization of veteran mercenaries, privateers and freedom fighters comprised of the highest caliber commanders called upon to turn the tides of war during the most chaotic times in history. Although discarded and criticized by the very powers for whom they served, their code requires training, dedication, discipline and loyalty from recruits who wish to join their ranks as well as from the people they support. The unit has experienced adversity time after time, but true Task Force 13 operatives never quit, jump in the trenches and remain comrades through it all. Some of the most revered and notorious combat commanders honed their skills here. Squadrons that have encountered Task Force 13 know them as worthy adversaries with the hearts and spirits of lions. Task Force 13 holds no allegiances to any superpower, but may be contracted to perform various tasks from wetwork to humanitarian aid. Recruits who wish to join their ranks are required to go through a basic phase of training and assessment known as the "Prospect Phase". During this phase,their level of combat knowledge, teamwork, shipbuilding and ability to lead is assessed. A prospect's SHIP ID will bear PTF (Prospect Task Force).
