The BRRT's history goes back to the summer of 3304. A loose collective of traders banded together to form the "Brosnatch Station Medical Transport Group", fighting a disease outbreak centered around Brosnatch Station in the Caledo system. Once the outbreak was quelled, the group continued to fly together to this day. Commanders came and went, along with spikes in the BRRT's activity. At its core, the BRRT kept their humanitarian ideals, helping out whenever a disease spread, a system plunged into famine, or a station needed to be evacuated. During the early Thargoid incursions, BRRT ships were vital in rescuing thousands of civilians from stations all over the bubble.

Outside of humanitarian efforts, the BRRT remains a relaxed group of Commanders who trade, mine, explore, fight and negotiate together. Since 3306, the BRRT is connected to their own player faction known as Hygeia Human Services, based in the CD-79 950 system. The faction is non-expansionist, aiming to simply leave the BRRT's mark on the galaxy.
