Ranks of The Alliance Battalion

1. Petty Officer First Class – Entry-level rank for recruits, focused on basic training, learning Alliance values, and supporting the squadron.
2. Chief Petty Officer – Trusted operatives who have shown initial dedication and skill, assisting in squad operations and tactical planning.
3. Ensign – Junior officers responsible for specific tasks within missions, developing skills and gaining respect from the squadron.
4. Lieutenant Junior Grade – Officers-in-training who have demonstrated reliability in the field and begin to oversee small mission aspects.
5. Lieutenant – Full officers leading small teams and playing key roles in tactical planning and mission execution.
6. Lieutenant Commander – Senior officers responsible for mentoring lower ranks and coordinating larger mission elements.
7. Commander – Leaders with authority over squad-based tactics and strategy, directing missions with a focus on Alliance unity.
8. Captain – High-ranking officers trusted with overseeing missions, ensuring that all units perform effectively and in line with Alliance values.
9. Rear Admiral Lower Half – Strategic thinkers responsible for squadron-wide planning, with a focus on logistics and mission success.
10. Rear Admiral Upper Half – Leaders who manage multiple mission units, maintaining discipline and alignment with the Alliance’s vision.
11. Vice Admiral – Senior advisors and strategists who work directly with the top leadership to influence the squadron’s operations.
12. Admiral – Elite officers with extensive experience and dedication, steering the squadron’s core objectives and overseeing high-stakes missions.
13. Fleet Admiral – The highest-ranking officer, embodying loyalty to Edmund Mahon and the Alliance. Responsible for all major decisions and inspiring the squadron’s values and unity.

Promotion Criteria

• Dedication to Alliance Values: Members are promoted based on their commitment to Alliance ideals of unity, cooperation, and protection. Those who actively demonstrate loyalty to Mahon’s vision are given special consideration for advancement.
• Skill Mastery and Leadership Potential: Each rank signifies a higher level of skill and responsibility. Members who excel in their roles—whether in combat, logistics, or leadership—will find opportunities to advance based on their readiness to mentor others and lead missions.
• Team Contribution: The Alliance Battalion values teamwork. Promotions are awarded not only for individual achievement but also for helping others succeed. Members who embody camaraderie, reliability, and supportiveness are recognized.
• Mission Performance: Successful mission outcomes and active participation contribute significantly to promotion. Members who excel in key assignments and show adaptability on various missions demonstrate they are prepared for higher ranks.
