OPERATION CONSTRUCTS
PROCESSOperations are associated with any long term endeavors within a specific stellar system. Any change to an Operation Order should be conducted through a Fragmentary Order. Missions which are not Campaign-focused, but which have a discrete purpose (e.g., special operation missions, rescue missions, trade missions, etc.) do not use the OPERATION construct as they are considered EXPEDITIONs. MNSTDEF missions are updated within the Ministry of Defense Private Discussions thread. They are then updated in the MISSIONS section of Inara. They are then copied to the ORDERS section of Discord and the link to the Inara mission is posted in the XBox Live club.
TEMPLATES
The following templates may be used to build operational briefings. The briefing should be surrounded on top and bottom by OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION. For exercises, the briefing should be surrounded on top and bottom by EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE.
The first lines of the briefing should detail the classification level (UNCLASSIFIED, SECRET, TOP SECRET). UNCLASSIFIED denotes missions that may be shared with anyone. SECRET denotes missions that may only be shared with allies. TOP SECRET denotes missions that should not be shared with anyone outside of the Ryders. The From and To lines should identify where the orders are originating from and who is affected by them. The RE line should identify the stellar system in which the principal orders should take place. For example:

The body of the operation text should be surrounded by text which identifies if the mission is an original operational order (OPORD) or a subsequent fragmentary order (FRAGORD). FRAGORDs should use the same identification number as the OPORD that preceded it, but should also identify which fragmentary order it is. So, if the operation is O018, the first fragmentary order would be F018-01. The individuals in command of the operation and who issued the order should also be identified (e.g., SUPCOM and the AUTHENTICATION lines).
