History
In 2959 a lone commander was ripped out of witch space by an unknown vessel. His ship was rendered inoperable by the vessel, butby jury rigging the systems in his escape pod, he was able to survive in stasis until he drifted close enough to Faraday Station in the LHS 6309 system years later.
Through life and after death, his story was believed false until the year 3125 where the mysterious vessel was reported tearing pilots out of witch space. His name was lost to time, though most only knew him as "The Drifter". Those who still believe him continue his legacy and refer to themselves as "Drifters".
