Official Faction Lore
Founded in 3302 by Dr. Amelia Dirichlet, PhD, of Dirichlet Laboratories LLC, the Astrobiology Research Cooperative was started in hopes of creating an independent humanitarian collective of pilots focusing on the aid of humanity’s fight for survival across the vast depths of space, be it through the eradication of disease, creating hardier crops, or genetically and physically altering humans to their fullest potential. Pilots who undergo alterations are conscripted into the Astrobiology Research Cooperative’s fleet, and tasked with aiding the faction in matters of commerce, defense, and exploration of the galaxy at large.
