• Jasmina Halsey, the President of the Federation, declared that the "Onionhead" narcotic would be illegal in Federation space due to her concern about its effect on the Federation's youth.
• Clemente Motanero forms a small ring of smugglers in order to help supply Onionhead to local Federation systems.

• After Federal bombings destroy large amounts of Onion Head crops, Motanero emerges with a large sum of Onion Head.  Grown on a private farm near his childhood home of Tshang Enterprise, a small mining outpost in Kappa Fornacis.
• Motanero was a key backer for research into Lucan Onion Head.  Through funds provided by his Kumite Car Club, Motanero was able to make valuable connections with leaders in Tanmark, solidifying his place in the market.

• After several private investments, and key politicians paid off, Onion Head returns to sale in Kappa Fornacis, becoming one of its key exports.  Rumors of cartel involvement begin to spread over the Cortex.
