Ordo Corona Stellarum Manifesto

The galaxy is suffering, commander. Corruption and apathy is rampant in all three of the superpowers, and this should come as no surprise to you if you’ve spent time with humanity at large. The Pilots Federation stands out as a step forward, and yet it too is ineffectual at bringing meaningful change and influence to the nobler pursuits of our collective ventures. We are vulnerable to ourselves, and the Thargoids are at our doorstep. Who stands in the gap, against the decay and the corrosion of our own people? Assessing this situation, and calling forth pilots of virtue, Ordo Corona Stellarum stands at the ready. Come forward, and we will seat you before the Crown of the Stars.

Dignity, Dominion, Prosperity.

Dignity – we inherently have power to choose to further nobility or to slip into corruption. Our capacity to choose is both power and responsibility. Your choices influence your environment and your network. Dignity is recognizing our agency and rising to the call of acting in alignment with virtue and principles. It is from dignity that we recognize dominion, commander.

Dominion – this is a state of control, normally viewed as external domains. Many exercise control over external domains. We call them superpowers and powers; we call them federations and clubs. True dominion, however, rightly begins within. This is birthed through dignity, the recognition of the power to make choices to rule the internal realm well. The outer realm knows no peace that the internal realm has not first overflowed.

Prosperity – Dominion ruled from dignity is the foundation of prosperity. Prosperity is not just monetary liquidity, but strong infrastructure, healthy people, and safe space lanes. It is the great capacity to live with as little fear as possible, and to make enduring memories that foster hope. Without dignity, there is no dominion, and without dominion, there is no prosperity.

The Alliance rules on the pretense of dignity, but they have no principled core and foster the Far God cult. The Empire rules on the pretense of dominion, but they warp the dignity of thousands of debt slaves. The Federation rules on the pretense of prosperity, and have forfeited dignity for profit and rule thus with hollow dominion. Ordo Corona Stellarum stands within these systems but apart from these systems. We have men and women of influence within the spheres of influence in each superpower.

We are not perfect men and women, but we are striving for dignity, dominion, and prosperity. We have within our ranks reformed and reforming pirates and slavers. We continue to war with corruption without and within. May our victories begin at home, and may they far outnumber our failures.
