IPV Regulations

Interstellar Proletarian Vanguard
Est. 30 - 01 - 3306

Mission Statement

The Interstellar Proletarian Vanguard (henceforth IPV) is an organisation committed to furthering the objectives of the galactic communist movement. This is to be achieved by increasing the influence of the IPV, and the other associate communist factions of Communism Interstellar throughout inhabited space wherever possible, insofar as it does not conflict with the Articles of Association of Communism Interstellar.

Articles

CMDRs that participate in the operations of the IPV are expected to abide by the following regulations. Failure to abide by these regulations will result in consequences of varying severity, proportional to the severity of the regulation breach.

  1. CMDRs of the IPV must avoid adversely affecting the interests of the IPV, and the other associates of Communism Interstellar.
  2. CMDRs of the IPV must read and agree to the Articles of Association of Communism Interstellar. Any major breaches of the Articles of Association will be reported to Communism Interstellar and will be discussed collectively to decide the course of action to be taken.
  3. CMDRs of the IPV should be respectful to fellow CMDRs of the IPV, CI, and any other CMDR they encounter. Hate speech such as racism, bigotry, homophobia, transphobia, or any other discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated at any time, and will result in immediate dismissal from the IPV, and the issuing of a kill-on-sight order to all other CMDRs of the IPV. Such an offence will also be likely to result in dismissal from Communism Interstellar as a whole.
  4. Any CMDR of the IPV that causes the deliberate destruction of another IPV ship, outside of a previously agreed upon combat practice scenario, will be subject to internal investigation, and may be demoted or dismissed from the IPV.
  5. CMDRs of the IPV that have been inactive for a significant amount of time may be demoted or dismissed if they cannot be contacted.
  6. Excluding CMDRs that have been designated as enemies of the IPV, CMDRs of the IPV must not attack any other CMDR unless acting in self-defence, or if they belong to a faction with which the IPV or CI is currently in conflict. Attacking clean CMDRs unprovoked, an act commonly known as “ganking”, will result in immediate dismissal from the IPV.
