The Story Behind Chryse Guard Security
Chryse Guard SecurityThe Beginning
Eta Serpentis. A once prosperous Federation system, devoured by the chaos of political strife. This is where Chryse Guard Security was born. With an eye for opportunity and many pockets ready to be filled, an inspired compact of like minded pilots came together to create a coalition who prized profit as much as they valued brotherhood. A private security force that not only came when paid, but stayed to ensure the job was done well.
It was under these goals that Chryse Guard Security set out onto the stars. With countless convoys valiantly defended and a reputation to match, Chryse Guard Security blossomed from their home station of Haipeng Port and sought greater wealth throughout the rest of civilized space.
The Federation, on the brink of losing systems like Eta Serpentis to the Empire's conquest, called upon Chryse Guard Security for aid. Capable pilots were needed. We answered. Corvettes replaced Cobras, and soon, fresh-faced PMCs began to replace Federal Navy vessels. However, the conflict lasted far longer than we anticipated. Soon, the Federation resources ran dry. They failed to respond to our calls for assistance. Our commitment to the fight could not be sustained. The Federation fled west from Eta Serpentis, and we fled east. We learned our lesson: the only valuable ally in the depths of space are the pilots in the cockpits beside you.
Chryse Guard Security evolved. Many pilots exchanged their dilapidated railguns for planetary scanners, greater cargo holds, and expansive fuel tanks. Veterans of war sought the comfort of trading and exploration as a respite from the conflict. We found a new home in the Kamadhenu system. Despite the expansion of our focus, the core principles remain. Whether a fighter pilot or a space trucker, the tenants of brotherhood and mutual prosperity guide our coalition through the stars. As war begins to encroach upon civilization once more, Chryse Guard Security finds itself with many questions: will we stay independent through the ensuing conflict, or will we pledge ourselves under a banner once more?
