Following the tragic bombings of the “Nine Martyrs” starports by the terrorist organisation the NMLA, and the ongoing accusations of corruption and infighting amongst the imperial family being responsible for the attack which lead to the death of half a million people, a group of ten independent pilots became enraged with innocent lives being decimated as mere collateral damage in the political machinations of the Imperial Family.
Those pilots, all experienced members of the Pilots Federation, have formed The Resistance; an independent group dedicated to resisting tyranny across the galaxy and striking back on behalf of the innocent lives which are so callously destroyed by those in positions of power. The Resistance seeks to give voice to the oppressed and seek out, disrupt and destroy those who would exploit the vulnerable for their own ends.
Using their skill as independent pilots to set up a strong presence in the {SYSTEM} in Alliance Space, The Resistance are gathering like-minded pilots to their cause and expanding their influence in order to provide a safe haven not only for those affected by recent tragic events but any who are fleeing the tyranny of imperial dictatorship systems and their corrupt system of debt and slavery. The Resistance have aligned themselves with the Alliance values of democracy and basic human rights for all and provide support through their combat pilots to the Alliance Defence Force.
