- Samos the Green Sage
Aurora Corps Interstellar at its very foundation, is formed from unknown commanders, outcasts, and commanders without a place to call home; green or veteranized. Aurora Corporation believes in providing services of all kinds to just about any type of commander. We take pride in our accessibility, our transparency, and our community to provide the best possible experience for not only our members within, but all people we interact with. While being a Federally aligned faction, we accept commanders from all over the galaxy, and from almost any background or creed. We do not uphold Federal ideals, instead maintaining an independent and unbiased outlook across every aspect of the galactic community.
The Core Ethos of Aurora Corporation
-Transparency: At the very center of our ethics is a transparency between all members regardless of "rank". Straightforwardness, respect, and truth act as the foundation for this belief. For every age, there is a time of trial. There is honour in honesty.
-Second Chances: Regardless of your background history, or any offenses you've committed within our community, we believe in a second chance policy. It is our firm belief that what you've done back then does not apply to who you are as of right now. Redemption is possible and reputation can be rebuilt. When no-one else will take you, you can find a home with Aurora Corps.
-Independence: All members of Aurora Corps are free to do as they see fit, so long as they are abiding from the few guidelines established within our community and are not committing any serious violations. We do not require our members to do any attendance or activity quotas, and we do not enforce any sort of professionalism upon any who do not wish to play Elite Dangerous beyond a casual capacity. When a situation arises that requires community attention, we will openly invite any members to participate, and we might even implement a do's and don'ts if the situation requires it, but we will never force a member to take any sort of action. The quickest way to destroy yourself, is to force yourself to overwork.

Aurora's Community Activities
Aurora Corps offers a vast array of activities for her members to participate in. Whether it be group activities within Elite Dangerous or even in other universes outside of our Elite Galaxy. There's a place for everyone in our community which has expanded out into other games, and will continue to expand as members share a common interest and seek to play together not only as a community, but as friends and comrades.
So if you ask what do we offer, we believe the better question is what don't we offer? In short, because of our unbiased and independent stance, we do not officially partake in powerplay activities. Should the interest arise however, we will open up and accept a powerplay focused community.
Here's the full list of activities you may find yourself participating in our community:
-Player vs Environment(PvE): The standard Elite Dangerous experience, and perfect for casually interacting with the community. Pirates, Military vessels, Thargoids we do it all! There's a place here for you
-Background Simulation(BGS): For the more dedicated PvE players, we have an active BGS group for those interested in taking the extra step to supporting our Federally aligned minor faction. This is a commitment but nobody will force you to join or stay.
-Trade/Mining: As a corporation we understand the important of trade. We have a handful of experienced trade and mining masters who are more than happy to share their knowledge and trade with you as a group effort.
-Exploration: Our community enjoys the aspect of journeying out into the void and discovering something; whether that be something previously undiscovered, or heading to already discovered popular destinations to see the majesty of nature for themselves. You can expect to be able to participate in an endless amount of group activities that anyone invites you to partake in.
-Player vs Player(PvP): Encountering other players is part of the standard Elite Dangerous experience. Part of our guidelines is our anti-ganker policy. We do not condone anyone within our community to openly gank other players. At the same time, we do not go out of our way to patrol systems for ganker activity. Should one of our own or someone in our extensive network of allies request assistance due to a ganker, feel free to respond for some PvP action. Outside of this, we do have an active PvP group always looking to train and educate anyone seeking to better themselves in a fight.
