Elysium Corp is a corporate entity that operates (officially) within the human inhabited space of the Elite: Dangerous universe. The goal of this group is to expand on the experiences this game has to offer, adding extra immersion and activities for all involved - whatever you playstyle and profession, Elysium Corp has a role for you to play and help shape the course of history (even if it is strictly off the records...).
Why Join?
- A place for all: as you will see below, Elysium Corp is a group that will cater for a range of players: those into RP and the lore of Elite, those looking to make an impact and a difference or even commanders who simply want to enjoy the social aspect of the group and casually enjoy the game without worrying about any addition aspects of the group.
- An ongoing, progressing story: Elysium Corp and it's activities will follow along a storyline shaped by player actions (including members, powers and other groups) and contributions.
- Group goals, missions and events: As the group grows, the range of activities and events we can host will grow. With good organisation, the group can provide commander's with unique and unforgettable experiences - whether we're performing a coup to overthrow a system's ruling faction in favour for another by smuggling en masse or performing combat exercises.
- Gain valuable experience: No doubt the group is open to player's of all caliber, and with all that skill it is the perfect opportunity to help one another progress and learn new ways to enjoy the game.
- Competitions: Down the line the group will hopefully be able to host competitions, and support corp bonds that will be awarded outside the game for participating in group events and could perhaps be redeemed for prizes such as ship skins.
- Community: A forum and teamspeak as a social hub and means to find a wing-mate or a place to chill at anytime, why endure traversing the universe alone?
- Much, much more: These are only initial ideas that have been drawn up, and there is plenty of room for expansion. Including mercenary operations for other Elite: Dangerous groups - for example temporarily pledging to a group to provide much needed support, in return for payment in rare goods. That's just one example!
