Who We Are

The Astral Research Academy, founded in 3308, is the dream of its four founding members, who realised their goals cannot be completed alone.

Our sole objective is to explore the galaxy, cataloguing our discoveries for the betterment of civilisation.



Current Mission

The ARAC is currently working on the “Apocrypha Project” which includes the creation of the “ARAC Survey Fleet”.

This newly formed fleet will travel across the galaxy indefinitely, acting as a mobile base of operations for our explorers as we chart the infinite void.

If you are an explorer looking for an exploration focused group to join then this is the place for you. We welcome CMDR’s who have a passion for exploration no matter their experience and we are willing to teach those who would like to start mapping the Galaxy.

There is no hierarchy in this squadron, each CMDR is their own boss and are not required to take part in current or future squadron activities. Exploration is a community driven activity in Elite and we would like to have the same mindset in our player group.
