About the Relaxed Pilots Union
The Relaxed Pilots Union are a Yuri Grommunist pilots' union welcoming Commanders from all walks of life. Led by union party leader CMDR Morning Star Heosphoros, we stand by the values of a stateless, classless, moneyless society. In our current political sphere of the 3300s, we are still far from Communism, but Yuri Grom's values are the first Socialist state to rise in modern times, created from disgust of the Conservative Federation's iron fist and poor quality of life. We hold the torch of being the Legacy Yuri Grom Squadron.
CMDRs of all Activities, Availability, Attitudes, Galactic Time Zones, Play Styles, and Game Modes are welcome. No frequent log-ins or devoted play are required. CMDR Morning Star Heosphoros currently only speaks Terran English, but is slowly learning German. Support of your comrades is a key quality, and fighting innocent Commanders without their consent is very frowned upon, and may warrant union excommunication if no sufficient acceptable explanation can be provided.
The Relaxed Pilots Union is currently only present on the PlayStation platform, but is open to expansion to other platforms from viable CMDRs (CMDR Morning Star Heosphoros is currently financially incapable of migrating to PC). We are based out of Hieb Terminal in Zlotrimi, supporting the Workers of Manite Labour Union Minor Faction.
From Each According to Their Ability
Squadron members will never be expected to regularly log on or participate in Squadron Missions, nor will Squadron members of various platforms be required to register their Squadron membership within the Inara page. While we have both Powerplay and Background Simulation opportunities, neither are required of our union members.
You're permitted to pilot whenever you like, and have no need to fear for crunch culture concerning Squadron rankings, Powerplay cycles, or even Faction Status. Both life responsibilities and factors such as disabilities and economic disparity are respected here, and you will all be treated with equity.

If you require assistance with a Wing Mission, CMDR Reset recovery, emergency refueling, combat assistance, or other factors, feel free to reach out for assistance. We are also willing to help CMDRs of other Squadrons upon request.
We are also open to communication regarding support of Squadrons who choose to align themselves with the Pilots' Federation, The Guardians, and, tentatively, potentially The Thargoids, if a peaceful resolution to conflict is presented. While a Squadron Discord will not be made unless the union reaches 10 members (or members across multiple platforms), our Squadron is a proud member Squadron of the Legacy Pilots Coalition, a cross-Squadron union of Legacy pilots on both platforms, which you can join here: Legacy Pilots Coalition Discord.
