Founded in 3303 after a series of serendipitous encounters around the Sol system, the Leviathan Scout Regiment is a private military faction that engages in a wide variety of missions, ranging from trade and transportation, to exploration, to all-out combat manoeuvres.
Born from a desire to remain an independent entity and retain control of its own affairs, while preferring to help the Hudson faction on their own terms, the LSR maintains a democratic military-council as government, despite technically being classified as a patronage. Loyal first to their leader, second to the wing itself, and third to each other, the Leviathan Scout Regiment welcomes all CMDRs into their systems, for the most part. They have an intense dislike for oppressive regimes and elements seeking to do them and their allies harm, and despite a strong desire to work with other factions than against them, they will aggressively defend themselves if provoked.
We are currently recruiting new members on PC, and we invite all friendly, committed CMDRs to join our cause, and help re-build an established faction into one of the best in the Elite: Dangerous universe.
We are actively involved in Background Simulation, Community Goals, PowerPlay objectives, CQC, friendly PVP, AX Combat and Relief Efforts, and with plans to participate in the events and growth in and around the Colonia region, our faction has big plans moving forward. The Leviathan Scout Regiment is always looking for decent, hard-working CMDRs to join our cause and help make a name for ourselves out there.
Currently we find ourselves in need of a qualified PowerPlay expert, PVP specialist, Exploration specialist, and a wide variety of other positions and we're currently looking at putting out more streaming and video content, so if you have any editing/streaming skills and are interested in being a part of something great, make sure to hit us up!
In addition to this we're always welcoming CMDRs of all talents and specialties, both new and experienced, and we are always open to new ideas for our group to try out. We are a largely non-hostile group that prefers community-building and cooperation. We'd like to make a big impact in the community and being a group that wants to grow and do extraordinary things, we could use all the help we could get.

The Leviathan Naval Fleet is comprised of some of the finest pilots to ever grace the galaxy. Equipped with some of the most advanced weapons and warships, these are the brave men and women who sacrifice their ships, their credits, and their very lives, defending everything the Leviathan Scout Regiment holds dear. Though they saw little action, their efforts in running protection screening for Yuri Nakamura in conjunction with Third-Fleet during Operation: "Truthful Prism" (Premonition Event) were invaluable in allowing critical information in possession of Kahina Tijani Loren and her associates to be disseminated. Comprised mainly of Bounty-Hunters, former Paramilitary Operatives, and Mercenaries they can often found patrolling Diabak and the surrounding systems. Due to their close relationships with Imperial and Federal contacts such as Cerberus, Marine Forces Special Operations Command and a number of Alliance and Independent factions, they are capable of fielding an extensive variety of weapons, technology and tactics. They can often be found on the frontlines of the Leviathan Frontier, as well those of their allies. First Fleet, also known as "The First Diabak Dragoons" for their high levels of coordination and execution as an airborne unit, is also capable of functioning as a self-contained, planet-side subjugation force, complete with med-evac, surface-to-air, close-air-support, and artillery capabilities.
With the arrival of the Thargoid Maelstroms, and in light of being the only current remaining fleet, the responsibilities of the LNF have grown to encompass anti-xeno combat, humanitarian aid & relief, search & rescue, station repair, and civilian evacuation duties in addition to providing armed escort to traders and other civilians assisting with non-combat-operations. Unfortunately, this has left the Leviathan Naval Fleet stretched precariously thin in terms of combined strength and financial solvency due to the ever-rising costs of war, fielding state-of-the-art ships and equipment at a staggering pace, and having their forces spread out over a wide number of systems and objectives.

Note: Joining a particular fleet DOES NOT mean that you are locked in with that particular division and cannot participate with the other Fleets. The particular Fleet you join will be your "bread and butter," or the type of gameplay you enjoy most. This is what you will be doing on a regular basis for the Leviathan Scout Regiment. It's a great way for our Members and Recruits to wing up and game regularly with people who share similar interests and play styles. While the Fleet you join will denote your main role with the group, participation with the other Fleets and their activities is as simple as building another ship and designating it with the appropriate tag. If you join a Fleet and wish to switch roles full-time once assigned, please advise Military Council so we can make the necessary roster changes.
IMPORTANT!: If you are inactive beyond 30 days in game, on Inara, or in our Discord server, without notifying a member of LSR Military Council or Lieutenants Commission, you will be removed from your Fleet without notice. The Fleets are designed for our more active player-base who may wish to specialize in a particular role. If you are removed from your Fleet, you will NOT be demoted, and will still be able to rejoin, provided you are active.

Decommissioned Fleets
Leviathan Search & Rescue Fleet - Focus: Refuelling, Repair, Evacuation, Search & Rescue, BGS
Ship Designation: LSRF-1
Iron-willed and always ready to sortie at a moments notice, these are the CMDRs within the Leviathan Scout Regiment who specialize in search and rescue operations. Rather than outsource to the Fuel Rats, the members of the Leviathan Scout Regiment created this specialized unit in an effort to support the Fuel Rats Mischief after a multitude of their members ran out of fuel in a series of unfortunate accidents. Both a form of thanks, and a show of support, the Leviathan Scout Regiment hopes that their efforts in forming this fleet will free up valuable time and resources for the Fuel Rats so that they are better able to do what they do best. In addition to performing regular search and rescue duties and re-fuelling operations, they have developed a name for themselves due to their quick and efficient response to starports and ships attacked by Thargoids, and coordinated evacuation efforts both in response to the current Thargoid situation, and various other crises around the galaxy.
Leviathan Trade & Acquisitions Fleet - Focus: Trade/Mining/Materials Acquisition/Funding/System Wealth/BGS
Fleet Designation: LTAF-1
A group of wildcat space miners and traders whose dedication to their craft knows no bounds. Able to source and procure vast quantities of materials from a wide variety of locales, this off-color and slightly insane group of individuals is responsible for providing the Leviathan Scout Regiment and their allies with the materials that they need to build their future and secure their place in the galaxy. With a silver-tongue, the patience of a saint, and the tenacity of a cornered wolverine, the Leviathan Trade & Acquisitions Fleet plies their trade across the galaxy. Often found supporting humanitarian efforts, the fleet encompasses a wide variety of vessels in it's effort to bring the people what they need, when they need it. Surprisingly, many of the operatives within the fleet have a penchant for philanthropy, and transaction records of their donations to various worthy causes fill the financial records of the LSR, just as surely as they fill the coffers. LTAF-1 played a large part in the highly publicized Galactic Initiatives Operation: Aerondight and Operation: IDA in which massive quantities of Indium were brought to Malthus Terminal in Pleiades Sector HR-W d1-41 to bring it back online following Thargoid attacks in the system. Due to their work with CNTRL, the Leviathan Frontier expects to see a marked increase in system wealth in all controlled sectors, as well as more numerous and lucrative trade routes and mining hotspots.
Leviathan Colonial Fleet - Focus: Colonia Expansion Initiative
Ship Designation: LCF-1
A group of CMDRs working towards the implementation of the LSR as a major force in Colonia and the surrounding sectors. Having near-full autonomy of their affairs, they report directly to the Military Council of the Leviathan Scout Regiment, and run their division along the same guidelines as set out for the rest of the faction. Uninterested in the core systems, the Leviathan Colonia Division encompasses a wide variety of ships, can boast having CMDRs from all walks of life, and believes it prudent to have a secondary presence and a home away from home for the Leviathan Scout Regiment and its operatives.
CNTRL - Focus: BGS Mechanics, Manipulation, and Training/System Wealth/BGS Planning/Expansion Planning & Execution/PVE Combat/Trade
Ship Designation: CNTRL
Control of Network & Tactical Response for Leviathan, or CNTRL for short, is a fleet compromised of top-notch pilots who have dedicated their time to learning the in's and out's of the "Back Ground Simulation." Established with the full support of both Governor Dorian Lawrence and the LSR Military Council, this group was formed to directly to combat attempts to destabilize the political structure of the LSR Frontier, to seek out and acquire new systems assets, and to ensure that those assets, as well as the LSR Frontier and it's citizens, are safe and successful. In order to ensure the security and future of the Leviathan Frontier, CNTRL's Agents are trained to be extremely proficient in offensive and defensive BGS tactics, covert operations, as well as diplomacy and trade, and work extensively with the other Fleets in the Leviathan Scout Regiment.
Leviathan Independent Task Force - Focus: Trade/Mining/Materials Acquisition/Funding/System Wealth/BGS
Fleet Designation: LITF
In early 3305, the Leviathan Scout Regiment acquired a wealth of resources and talented pilots as a result of the merging of LSR and BHR Independent Task Force, and a new fleet was established within the LSR to accommodate both the decommissioning of the aging LTAF-1 fleet, as well as the transitioning of former pilots of BHR. The newly formed Leviathan Independent Task Force, comprised of pilots from all walks of life, career interest, and skill level, have shown an almost preternatural affinity for both the manipulation and creation of significant quantities of wealth in both credits, and resources. As a healthy by-product of their endeavors in conjunction with CNTRL and the rest of the fleets within LSR, the LITF are no strangers to combat, mining, exploration, and are always seeking innovative and creative ways to bring the wealth of the galaxy home. Achieving Second Place on the Trade Leaderboards during Season One for the Leviathan Scout Regiment as a result of their tireless efforts, LITF went above and beyond what was expected several times, earning the LSR their first taste of fame and fortune for the year, as well as a stunning trophy in honor of their efforts to be displayed in a prominent position at LSR headquarters, Bridges Survey.
Leviathan Education And Deployment - Focus: BGS/Multirole/Support/Recruit Training/Leadership Training
Ship Designation: LEAD
Working in conjunction with the other Fleets of the Leviathan Scout Regiment, the Leviathan Education And Deployment fleet plays a crucial role. Rather than dedicate themselves to one particular discipline, this fleet provides high-quality operational training through the support of the other LSR Fleets, by participating in mission objectives, and helping change and boost the influence of the LSR and their allies throughout their sectors of control. This particular fleet is critical to the development of both novice and professional pilots, ensuring there is always a new, talented generation of CMDRs within the LSR ranks. This particular Fleet has proven their mettle in multiple scenarios and, though somewhat inexperienced, is capable of completing a wide variety of objectives both quickly, and effectively. Providing high quality training for newer LSR Operatives, providing a pathway to the regular Fleets, and offering other mentor-ship programs for LSR staff seeking to further hone their talents in the areas of Leadership and Teaching, LEAD strives to instill to CMDRs new to Leviathan Scout Regiment the core values that they hold dear, while ensuring they have the skills and resources they need to be successful as both a CMDR, and and LSR Operative. LEAD has earned notoriety for their efficient and focused campaign of strategic military coups throughout the Diabak sector as a result of Operation: "Groundwork Zeroes," during the early days of the LSR.
Leviathan Intelligence, Exploration, & Science Fleet - Focus: Thargoids/Exploration/Intel/Guardians/Research/Colonia/Conspiracies/Anti-Club Counter Operations
Ship Designation: IESF-1 / IESF-2
The Intelligence, Exploration, & Science Fleets of the Leviathan Scout Regiment were created to gather intelligence on the strange and mysterious happenings going on throughout the galaxy. This entails everything from the ambiguous events that took place in the Formidine Rift, to more recent events like the Thargoid presence in the core worlds and floating around inhabited space doing Gods know what. They respond to every report of anything unusual and aim to reach the locations of these events ASAP. Their approach to investigating all of these strange and unusual events is with skepticism and rationality so all applicants are kindly asked to leave their tinfoil hats at the door. These brave operatives are the eyes and ears of the Leviathan Scout Regiment. Ever vigilant, they pride themselves on their ability to gather and disseminate valuable information at an astonishing pace, and can be found in every corner of the galaxy, provided you know where to look. Experts at stealth, and with a taste for the unknown, the fleets provide intelligence on a wide variety of subjects for all of the units within the LSR. With the arrival of the Thargoids, and the resurgence of the Guardians, the IESF has seen a marked increase in their fleet size, and were the key fleet engaged with research, search and rescue, and combat-intel for Operation: "Blazing Mantis," which provided a wealth of technical data in a variety of fields which the LSR hopes to be able to use in their future endeavors. Due to the nature of their dealings with the unknown, they are also capable of fielding a fleet comparable to LNF-1 / LNF-2 in terms of AX capability should the need arise.
Leviathan Galactic Adventure Fleet/Leviathan Extreme Events Fleet - Focus: Travel/Passenger Transport/Tourism/Ship Racing
Ship Designation: LGAF/LEEF
Do you like to travel? Have you ever wanted to see the inside of a black hole? How about the very center of a high intensity Combat Zone, followed by a flyby of the Great Annihilator? We do that. Need a transport for 40 prisoners of war? We offer luxury class. Are you wanted by half the galaxy and STILL need to travel? We'll get you there. The Leviathan Galactic Adventures Fleet prides itself on timely transportation, and being able to provide their passengers with the cutting-edge in comfort and style as they ferry folks from all walks of life to the most far-flung reaches of the galaxy. Working in conjunction with the Leviathan Intelligence Exploration & Scouting division, they double as a second source of information for the LSR and its members.
Some do it for the thrill, some do it just for fun, and some still, do it just because they can. Adrenaline junkies and thrill-seekers all, this fun loving squadron is responsible for forwarding the name of the Leviathan Scout Regiment through events such as SRV races, Canyon Runs, and FTL time trials. Always looking for the next big thrill, and constantly seeking perfection, these members will be working in conjunction with members of the Elite Dangerous: PVP League, the Buckyball Racers, and the Elite: Dangerous Racing club, in an effort to promote the skills of their members, make new friends, build the community, and provide their own special brand of fun and excitement to the galaxy.
Leviathan Joint Task Fleet - Focus: BGS, Multirole
Ship Designation: LJTF-1
Working in conjunction with the other fleets of the Leviathan Scout Regiment, the Leviathan Joint Task Fleet plays a crucial role. Rather than dedicate themselves to one particular discipline, these self-proclaimed "jacks-of-all-trades" support the operations of the other fleets, participate in mission objectives, and help change and boost the influence of the LSR and their allies throughout their sectors of control. Possessing both a wide variety of skills and ships, this particular fleet has proven their mettle in multiple scenarios and is capable of completing a wide variety of objectives both quickly, and effectively. Their operatives are particularly skilled in search and rescue operations are capable of operating in hostile environments with stealth, focus, and precision. Their skills are often contracted to other factions requiring high-quality operational assistance. The LJTF has earned notoriety for their efficient and focused campaign of strategic military coups throughout the Diabak sector as a result of Operation: "Groundwork Zeroes" and other missions.
Task Force: 13 - Focus: PVP Combat, BGS
Ship Designation: TF-13
Mostly hailing from mercenary backgrounds, and the remnants of a defunct Federal task fleet, the LSR's Task Force: 13 has earned a reputation for formation flying, and high levels of coordination between members in the fleet. They are responsible for the patrol of the Leviathan Scout Regiments systems and the destruction of hostile elements in the Diabak sector as well as the training and integration of recruits into full-fledged LSR Operatives. They hold regular friendly war-games with a number of CMDR's and Factions in an effort to hone their skills, and learn from a wide variety of combat scenarios, and despite once being hunted by the Federation, many of them still maintain a fierce loyalty to Zachary Hudson.
