Who are we?The Guardians of Harmony were established in 12th November 3300 out of Lorenz Hub in HIP 118213, organizing around the shared principles of common assets distributed according to each individual's true need. Our squadron's commanders volunteer their time, talents, and resources to establish, preserve, and defend harmony across Utopian space, and ultimately the galaxy. We operate without strict hierarchy on the principal of "one member, one voice," balancing individual freedom with collective responsibility. There is no compulsion, no mandatory events, no commanders, no managers, and no bosses. We protect and further the interests of Utopia, one of the oldest and largest factions in the galaxy, led by comrade Simguru Pranav Antal.

We do not align ourselves with any superpower, although we strive to maintain diplomatic relations with the Federation, Empire, and Alliance. The galaxy is a dangerous place. There are threats everywhere. Humanity is under constant attack from malign forces who want to disrupt harmony. The majority do sadly live under unfortunate circumstances. They have to suffer injustice, poverty and war. We strive to make the galaxy a better place, for humanity to thrive and flourish, it has to be in harmony with itself and its surroundings, and establish harmonious relations with all other sentient beings. Guardians of Harmony is a squadron where we primarily do PvE, but we engage in all activities available in Elite: Dangerous and are interested in all aspects of the game. Combat, exploration, trade, mining and any other role or activity that can be done in Elite: Dangerous, we do them all. Guardians are free to fly in Solo, Private Group or in Open.

(Scholars are still debating the origin and accuracy of this quote. They all agree that it is was said by a sage in ancient times from the early days of humanity on Tellus. But they do not agree on who. Some argue it is from a prince called Siddharta, a possible predecessor to the imperial aristocracy. Others claim it was Gautama, a recluse who suffered a lot. A third group insists it was someone called Buddha, a guide of sorts who obviously could not walk since he is only depicted sitting in an awkward position. Lastly there is a small but fanatic group of zealots who believes it was Shakyamuni, a transcendental being of which we know absolutly nothing.)

But, the evidence that they presented was for everyone else indisputable proof that Jean-Luc Picard had existed. Captain Jean-Luc Picard is now more popular than ever.)
Our RulesIn Guardians of Harmony there are some basic rules:
Guardians of Harmony welcomes everyone. Regardless if you are new or old to Elite: Dangerous, of how much or little you play or what you do in-game, there is a place for you. We are a casual group of players of all levels of experience working on keeping our minor faction one of the largest in the galaxy.
- We do not accept racism, bigotry, sexism, homophobia or xenophobia in any way, shape, or form.
- No piracy, no griefing, no slavery and no cheating.
- Ultimately you have your own code but must respect the code others live by.
- Everyone counts. We are all equals within the systems of Harmony
- We do not endorse any particular real-world ideological line in real life.

How to becomeAnyone can join. All are welcome.
Everyone can join the Guardians of Harmony discord.
It is easy to become a guardian. There are only 2 requirements:
- Member of the Guardians of Harmony in-game squadron
- Joined our Discord
This can be done in 3 easy steps:
- Join our discord and express your interest in joining.
- Apply for membership in Guardians of Harmony in-game squadron - Access the Squadron page on the right-hand panel and search for Guardians of Harmony either by name or tag (squadron tag in-game is GDHM for PC and GOHX for Xbox) and send an application to join the squadron. We pretty much accept anyone.

Guardians of Harmony has many allies and friends in the in-game universe. We coordinate our actions across squadrons and platforms, and we often fly together. As a guardian, your natural wingmates are not only the commanders in your squadron, but also all the friends and allies of Guardians of Harmony. And of course, all the other friends you have made or will make in-game.
