Here at Affinity, we pride ourselves in maintaining and reinforcing the fundamental ideals that rest at the very core of the Alliance of Independent Systems; that is, we believe in fostering one’s ability not only to achieve their goals, both short and long term, but also to reach their maximum potential in a dangerous, unforgiving, and ever evolving galaxy; Affinity is a band of brothers and sisters striving for freedom, peace, and justice in these trying times.
As fear and word of extra-terrestrial invasion spreads across known space, both stations and mega ships alike burn, mottled with the now distinct and all too familiar green-yellow luminous scorch marks that accompany the ever increasing Thargoid attacks. And yet, despite the alien threat, humanity remains at odds with itself, as powers conspire, factions contest for control, and political ideologies clash and waver, threatening to boil over the cosmic threshold in a turbulent and furious display of apocalyptic chaos. And right there, at the edge of all the chaos - where life not only gains its footing and strength to find its way, but flourishes - is where Affinity firmly plants itself. It’s a crazy galaxy out there, but rest assured, Affinity will get you home in one piece.
Founded by well-versed, triple elite veteran Commanders, Affinity and its members can be found around the galaxy taking part in anything ranging from bug and/or bounty hunting, war fighting, and faction support, to intrepid exploration, material acquisition/utilization, and site seeing/general lolly gagging, and everything in between. What once started as a small group of friends on some far off moon has now grown into a sizeable fleet of varied pilots, whom each display their own level of experience, but whom all clearly share a common love for the cosmos and space travel, and we could not be happier to expand our knowledge and understanding with you all, to bring more into the fold with us, and to make Elite: Dangerous a more fun, enjoyable, remembered and beloved place to be for everyone!
Remember: we are always happy to help each other out when possible whether its with advice and guidance, mission assistance, or anything else your mind could think of.

Below are some basic squad rules:
1) Respect your squad mates.
2) Help out a fellow squadron member if able and willing.
3) No griefing other pilots; Do not engage unless fired upon, or unless your target is wanted and you’ve made the call to engage.
4) If you have any squadron-related issues, consult a Commander or your Fleet Admiral.
5) Fly safe and have fun!

This galaxy will be relentless towards you. There will be much pain ahead. But always remember...

You will fail, and from that failure will grow strength.
And by falling together, through our joined strength we can do truly awesome things!
