SakashiroDoomsday!

Sir SprockettSo my PC is currently running a Quad Core i5-6500 - which cannot handle the new upgrade.
My mother board will allow me to go up to a Intel BX80677I77700K Core i7-7700K which along with my GTX 1650 should give me a reasonable gaming experience
so best place to get a Intel BX80677I77700K Core i7-7700K - or has anybody body got one lying around?
KalenarYour i5-6500 should be slightly faster than the i5-4590 mentioned in the minimal system requirements, so I'd recommend just trying Odyssey before upgrading.

I played Alpha and it stuttered horribly so reduced graphic settings to not fun to play with. But now have realized that it is the processor not keeping up. When I bought the PC i specified to be able to upgrade, it feels like the time to do so.

Only reason the FPS was HORRIFIC in Alpha was because they never turned on occlusion and EVERYTHING was rendered. I mean EVERYTHING even if you weren't looking at it. Alpha was a torture test.

My alpha experience:
Landed on planet. 60 fps. Yay!
Disembarked. 45 fps. Wtf?
What we're getting today won't be that bad. And what we'll get in autumn will be even better, I'm sure.
Dirnivirso the game has gone down i think. i havent checked but its going to be down for 11 hoursI'm confused on why they shut down the servers when there wont be cross-play between horizons and odyssey. Also confused on why shutting down the servers means shutting down solo play as well. Couldn't they have left up solo play and still done server maintenance?
