I've got both and love the Vulture for bounty hunting. Far for agile than the AspX.

If its strictly bounty hunting - then the vulture without any doubt.
ASP X is more of an all rounder - if you wanted to do some passenger missions, trade, exploration and bounty hunting - then you will find the vulture very limiting.
But as a bounty hunter - excellent. You get a limited loadout but the 2 large hardpoints are powerful. You also need to be careful with power management on the vulture due to its limiting PP - so best to do some engineering on it.

In terms of pure combat, the Vulture has to be the one to go for. It's agile, potentially tanky and packs a big punch. It's also a hoot to fly.

Also just returned to I Bootis from Maia where I had several encounters with aliens. Got killed several times but did survive one encounter and was even able to scoop a black box, military grade fabric, military information from the alien ship crash site. Not sure what to do with any of it but kind of cool to have for now. If you’re looking for alien encounters go to Maia. There are non human signals all over that area and surrounding systems.

Any system under the control of Li Yong-Rui gives 15% discount on ships and modules iirc.

You can use the search feature at Inaras shipyard to find discounted ships. Simply check the "discounted" box. Good luck
