Phisto SobaniiI’m wondering why you’d need a thermonuclear weapon when things like plasma accelerators exist. The lore description of them in atmospheres is terrifying.



Nuclear warhead gives off radiation poisoning, which causes more casualties than just the plasma accelerator blast damage alone!!


They also contaminate territory and infrastructure, which is pretty shitty if you want to use them again any time soon.

If you had given that bit of info, I could have helped sooner. Your rank with an engineer is only saved to the journal when it changes, no other time. As such, Inara can't automatically know what rank you have until it increases. You can manually set them here.

Please forgive me if this is inappropriate, but I'm a little worried about the state of the community in this game after a recent interaction with Cmdr Demon Lord Nox from the 104 Humanity Defence Force.

Upon joining this website and making a post in the Introductions discussion, I received an aggressive invite into his wing, and then leaving the wing shortly after to join one belonging to people that I actually know and play with in the game, he proceeded to try to annex my current wing, which admittedly, is new to this game. When that didn't go his way, he proceeded to make threats that we'd be hunted down. We're just peaceful traders trying to enjoy this game, yes... I said GAME.

"until you see reason we wont be your allies and others wont be your allies you need to understand when people are trying to help you. especially when they have more expierice in the matters you are dealing with
also you and your pilots are KOS form the full AXI. Have fun being hunted" Taken from out Discord.

As if that wasn't enough, I receive a follow up DM in my mailbox from him that states, "shoulda stayed with us. your faction is now listed as a thargoid protecting faction". So is this what people in this game resort to when video game politics don't go their way?

Incredible, and I mean that with the utmost sarcasm.

How is someone like this individual allowed to remain here and soil the good name of Elite Dangerous?

Not true we told the leader of your wing that he needed 10 pilots in his wing on Inara in order to get added to the game he refused to listen so we cut ties.

we tried to tell your leader how to get added to the game he wouldnt listen our coalition ended and i did message you saying you should of stayed with us since we at least know how to be in the game. after all we told your leader we are a Humanity Defence Force and your leader hated that

I won't repeat the insults you threw his way, in fear of minors reading this page. Point being, you are not the definition of an inviting gaming community, and some transparency about your 'private engagements' was needed. Please don't bother us again.

Why don't the two of you take your little game of happy slaps into a dm or discord discussion?

Public shaming isn't winning you any brownie points BITD, though however nasty 104th may have been to you, this is not the place for it.

104, sounds like your diplomatic prowless needs a bit more refining. Bull dog tactics hardly work.

Okay. So let them go their merry way. No need for threats. Besides, if your don't burn Bridges there could be useful alliances in the future. Let them learn the game in a way that suits them.

i know. but all we did was say he needed 10 people on his inara to make sure he got into the game and the hostility became unbearable

still considering them as a Thargoid Protection Faction that seems abit too far does it ? I research into the Thargoids and I'll find anyway or help in anyway to have peace with the Thargoids
