AreZeeRonin VakrisMerinidJust curious - there are many systems with "SHUI WEI" in name. Аnyone knows what does it mean in Elite?
Definitely looks like chinese, but without hanzi I don't really know what FD ment.
Other than giving me flashbacks of the Dynasty Warriors games and Romance of The 3 Kingdoms - the Kingdoms of Shu, Wei and Wu - I have no idea.
uhm, you quoted a post from more than 10 pages ago and there was already some kind of explanation for it in the following posts:

I don't know for sure, but sector names are randomly generated seven-letter words. Using 26 letters, we have some 8 billion possible sector names. SHUI WEI is just an accidental one of these names.
I wonder if they use all the seven-letters words with some meaning in any language, though 'shui wei' means 'water level' according to this Chinese dictionary: here Must be a coincidence
MerinidProblem is SHUI could mean: water, someone, sleep, tax, handkerchief
and WEI could mean: do, place, preserve... etc.
depending on which hanzi is used
But yeah if SHUI WEI is 水位 then it is water level
My bad. Was viewing it through a mobile device and I assumed it placed me at the last page. But hey, I brought nostalgia of old posts to the mix!

Player owned banks.
Why? so you can directly pay other players without having to do commodity exchange with them after a job
Also because we'll be creating a separate currency that ties to CR, the bank owners could also create virtual goods. (which can be used to support roleplay). read more in the link below.

Don't you think that the banksters have wrecked the real economy enough without having them wrecking our game as well?.

William LordlandHi all,
Please, is somebody can explain to me how find where there are ship to sell and what is their prices ?

William
Hi William, the Market tab here on Inara will tell you a LOT about a given system and station - commodity prices, nearby trade opportunities, the services available at the facility - including shipyard or not - and which ships are available for purchase.
The Outfitting submenu has a search bar once you're on that page, and there you can enter your location, and the piece of equipment you're looking for (including entire ships), and the results will show you where the nearest stations are that carry that item.
Ship prices are fixed/standard - you can look those up in the "shipyard" submenu. Some places do offer a discount, and in the Outfitting menu/search you can look for ONLY those that are discounted.
HTH.
And a hat-tip to Artie - brilliant feature set you've got here.

Just towards the end, I seemed to be getting interdicted regularly by ships that had NO bounties. Couldn't tell is they we real or CG. Pity really, could of used the credits.

I've sort of given up trading in the corvette, kinda takes forever, but I have found a new money making activity.... I've rediscovered mining, I make around 8-10mil a trip and don't have to jump the long way around. if anyone is interested in winging up for a mining run 2 or 3 times a week let me know (profits go up by 100% for each additional member). I'm on UK time so EU time-zone would be preferable.
That's all, as you were

We've got a war to win first but once that's done, I think I may be up for some pristine mining. I find mining quite therapeutic.

I've been toying with the idea for a few nights now. Just to get a rest from trading and missions.
