EpisparhI almost had you twice.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I did the same dance with a FDL a few minutes ago.

Getting strong Transformers vibes from that Track.

I don't have a Theme song but go with whatever fits best for the moment. Currently I'm into Drums and these two in particular:

BTW, do anyone know if there is difference between speed with rifles (Karma R-50/Aphelion) and SMGs (Karma R-44/ Eclipse) both running and jogging.

In my experience, you can run faster (and therefore jump longer) with smaller weapons and the fastest/longest without a weapon drawn. It may be tethered to the "handling" value of the weapon. Maybe there really is no difference but it feels like there is when I try different weapons.

Holy ****!

The first one wasn't bad, but the second one... With just the audio, I would have thought it's coming from a computer! The guy was playing like he had four arms, lol.

I guess the selling point of the first one is the girl's clothing (or lack thereof).

Yep, or you just holster and draw again when you need it

I need to move with drawn weapon - aiming even briefly makes you sitting duck. So I will go then for SMGs with hip firing accuracy and stability + combat speed instead of battery or ammo.

Remove the hip firing if you have combat speed to remove the movement penalty while aiming down sights. Keep the ammo instead

If you are using fragment cannons just go all in

He has a crazy gank kill count. Like 15,000 or so. I'd rather not mess with him.

Btw, something interesting just happened. A NPC "military courier vessel" (in the form of a Type-9, I kid you not) trailed me for several minutes. I expected an interdiction, even slowed down, but nothing happened. It just buzzed around me like a fly all the time, for no apparent reason or purpose. So I dropped out of SC to see if it would follow me. But instead a deadly Cobra dropped into my instance, scanned me, then low-waked.

It seems FDev is doing everything they can to make gank evasion more difficult. Bad scanner visibility in the Courier, "select highest threat" doesn't work, and now I found that even "target next system in route" stopped working reliably because the damn galmap just forgets the route I plotted minutes earlier.

Burstar Hmm, consider this.

I've seen a couple of suggested builds like this recently, which go for all resistance augmented shield boosters, and no heavy duty. The other one which comes to mind was the fully-engineered Krait MkII at https://sites.google.com/view/ed-pve-combat/builds/recommended-progression (posted by Episparh a while back).

I'm starting to wonder if I'm misreading the stats on EDSY or Coriolis, because whenever I see a build like that, based on my own experience tinkering with builds I swap out one Resistance booster for a Heavy Duty, and all the stats improve (apart from mass). When I say "all the stats" I mean the effective shield strength rather than the actual resist %, because I assume those are the numbers we should care about?

Usually, if I disagree with more experienced players, it means I'm wrong Am I missing some other downside of Heavy Duty, or just plain misreading the numbers? Or is the extra 10T mass a much bigger deal than I think it should be?
