Nothing now on this side, as far as the eye can see. I’m only scouting now for the last scannable resource on this rock. Water. With all this snow, you’d think I’d find some frozen somewhere. Usually the case. In the distance though it looks like I can see crystals. Maybe it’s a snowy mirage. I think I’ll use the low G’s on this planet and see if there is any water nearby the crystalline structure. I’ve found more gold and a drilling structure about 514m away. I’ll go to the crystals first then reroute to the structure. Standby. Yes, those are definitely crystals in the distance. I’m guessing, 900m away.
I’m close enough to get a reading. It is definitely a natural crystal structure. This is probably where the water on this planet can be found. 1304m and counting.
More gold……and I’m now 133 meters from the crystalline structure. I’ve scoped the area, as I’m far from the settlement and won’t be able to fast travel back to the ship if I get into trouble. It appears to be clear. Not a sound, no movement. No scans register that excepting the structure.
No water, but I did manage to get too close to a florentine vent and it did some damage to my ev suit and support systems. I’ll try to go to the last building on my map and see if I can recoupe before going back to the ship and finding a differ ent landing spot so I can find this water and move on to the next planet.
After 200 I found some frozen water. The planet is completely scanned now and all its resources. I’m still going to check out the last site though.
It’s a cave. I don’t have enough strength to carry any of the resources though, I’m quite frozen as well. I’m going to move on to a warmer planet now.
