Some Mining Op....

April 4, 2331Captain’s Log Entry LC 0001
I was working with Argos extractors on a planet called Vectera. It was my first and last day on the job. I pulled this weird artifact from the rocks in our mining area and some dude named Barrett with the group known as Constellation paid for this excursion just to get this artifact. Well this idiot brought the Crimson Fleet with him to our lovely mining camp and so we had to fight off the Crimson Fleet. Then he just hands me the keys to his ship and a robot named Vasco and told me to get to New Atlantis on Jemison to meet up with the rest of Constellation. Well I made it as far as exiting Vectera before I had to fight off three more Crimson Fleet ships. I was able to board each one and get some good loot before destroying two of them and leaving in the third. I will sell it and get at least some credits for my trouble. I then landed on a moon named Kreet. After getting a full scan of the place, I brought down an escaped terrormorph. I heard the stories but those things are vicious. What else…oh yeah I took out the Crimson Fleet Captain that kept sending ships after me. The fool thought Barrett’s…correction…my new ship called the Frontier was just laden with treasure. I talked him down and once his guard was down I executed the fool and his friends to ensure the pursuit was over. You don’t mess with a Lost Crusader like that. I haven’t heard from the others in a while, they are very spread out across the universe. I helped a fellow bounty hunter today and made some credits. Beyond that I landed on Jemison and I think I will join the UC Vanguard. Then I can become a citizen and buy a property or two. The Constellation wants to recruit me. I think I’ll join for now…their leader is cute…and…interesting. Maybe there is something there? Anyways until next time, this is Crusader Trujillo signing off.
