Elobilo[quote=Shg56] You pay the insurance price. I don't think, though, you pay anything extra for the original modules that you engineer. I died after engineering the FSD and the rebuy was free.

So, if I understood you correctly you engineered stock modules which came with the ship, and you got them back also for free fully engineered after the loss, right?

I don't remember having to re-engineer modules after recovering an insured ship... Ever.

Providing your credit is equal/superior to that of your ship rebuy insurance cost, it should cover the more expansive modules you have equipped her with.
I see no reason for it to be different for Pre-Built ships...

>>>

I don't know if it's one of those Server thing or if they nerfed the Robigo run, but I have to log out and in again several times to fill up a 7 cabins ship, I have one third of the number of available customers I had two days ago...

Hello pilots,
I need help: I have a bounty on my head from a faction that has no stations or harbors or settlements with landing pads. As soon as I approach a settlement of the faction, I receive a warning for trespassing. How can I get rid of the bounty ...apart from having myself killed Thanks in advance for your help.

You need to find a station that has an Interstellar Factor contact. You can pay off fines and bounties there, but they charge an extra 25%.

From the wiki:
Interstellar Factor contacts are generally found in systems with low security. To identify systems with an Interstellar Factor, open the Galaxy Map and set it to map mode. Then, select "Services" from the drop-down menu and check "Interstellar Factors". Systems with stations that have an Interstellar Factor contact will show up as a green dot.

Many thanks! I though the instellar factor isn't useble as long I'm wanted. I'll try to find one. Thanks again for the quick support.

And yes, I think my own thought is stupid when I read it: logically, you have the status "wanted" if there are bounties on your head!

Interstellar Factor only refuses to pay off bounties(and fines) if you have notoriety… which is displayed in the right-hand panel on the first tab, in your ship at least.

Notoriety being what it is(a pretty dumb mechanic), goes up to 10 and decays with 1 point per 2 hours but you have to be logged in for it to go down(the main reason why it’s stupid). 1 point is accrued per ship kill, on-foot kills are ‘partial’ points.

Hi! Anyone have any idea which ship we're gonna see next and <> when?

I'm collecting as much material as I can to prep for engineering, anyway, it's good to have a new ship, I still prefer my Corvette or Krait MK II, one has tons of shield and weapons ooomph, the other a fighter hangar, and like I've done for DCS I support the game by buying a ship I'm not gonna use that much.

This happens to me from time to time when bounty hunting, not that I'm not careful to avoid blue on blue but sometimes a pirate has a bounty and is showing red in my system but not on his, so I end up with a fine and the label wanted... Pain in the backside.

I engineered an Imperial Eagle ship to visit the nearest interstellar factors, good thing about it, it looks good.

Kasumi Gotoon-foot kills are ‘partial’ points.

Yeah having to stay logged in is a bummer, I don't do footy jobs in this game (I signed up for the ships and transitioned to Odyssey later), but it's good to know. Thanks!

The reason of it some peoples as usual abused the loopholes in the system thus it won't go away by get yourself blown into smithereens in a sidey, nor you can simply just pay off immediately if did something really bad or just wait it out offline. yes it suxxx, simply because in the heat of battle sometimes it can happen to shoot the wrong guy, but hey! If you want to be a good guy, or neutral you do better to got used to it, you can't just shoot to everything what moves or simply just exist. And the point of it? It's Suxxx to be a bad guy...

BTW Folks...

I'm planning a trip to Colonia with my Fleet Carrier in the mid-term
, I could carry a couple of ships if you're interested.

It's not gonna be a race, I go at my pace and take the opportunity to honk 4/5 systems around the carrier between each jumps but I get there without the trouble to have to jump every mn or so...

I'll stay in Colonia a few days/weeks but no longer, then back by a different route, I'm equipped for repair/refuel so you're not gonna stay stranded if you're out and anything happens.

Minonian It's Suxxx to be a bad guy...

Yeah, seriously when you see gankers queuing to buy the Python MK II you end up wondering if it's even enough, even more so because nobody is going to take them down without one or at least in a 1 vs 1 scenario, that's something Developers haven't foreseen.

>>>>>

For those who were wondering about Python MK II pre-built rebuy cost.

If the pre-built ship is destroyed you will be able to redeploy it at no cost, but any additional modules you have added will require in-game credits to retrieve during re-buy.
Pre-built ships PYTHON MK II STELLAR

WTH? One more concession to gankers. Now they don't even get to pay Credits for the ship rebuy...

Let's just not talk about how much challenge someone holds whom only takes on n00bs... None, as far the other has a correctly engineered ship, and some peoples are in their mind to not protect these i'm rathernotsayingwhats. Which is as we know, let's just be frank! Even more dangerous as on their bad side.

Agreed.

I'm too old and slow for the PVE challenges but I take pride on never having been a bully, plus, bots don't complain so let's go solo...

Having said that, in my own time I'd be more than happy to play open as a fuel rat, it will take some time, training and sorting out but eventually it's a role appealing to me.

Btw. Developers speaks about new ships needed for exploration, it might mean variants of ships such as the Krait Phantom or Asp Explorer...
17 May 2024, 10:42am
What they really need to heed the bazillions smaller problems which ones really draining our mood to play by the annoyance they cause, instead of starting a death spiral with things like their last stunt. You know the usual raising prices when the customers start to run out due of bad policies and even worse decisions. Result ---> less customer ---> more price raising and so on.

Hey, we are here to have fun, and not to see red because of the problems we constantly keep running into.

And to do this are actually works for a positive example see NMS & Cyberpunk.

For the time being, the Python MK II seems to be selling like cookies, so I guess it's a positive at least for the Developers.

Since I want my favorite game to keep going, I'm even thinking about getting myself a PYTHON MK II STELLAR, like I did get a F-18 or F-86 from DCS module developers, I rarely play them but I have them...

Thinder Btw. Developers speaks about new ships needed for exploration, it might mean variants of ships such as the Krait Phantom or Asp Explorer...

I'm not sure what they could do other than maybe give the ship some type of multiplier for jump range, maybe by removing weapon slots as a compromise. As it is, I am perfectly happy with my 50LY AspX. I am in no rush to go anywhere and tend to fully map the systems I go through, anyway.

It might be nice to have the space to carry more than one SRV, but I could do that if I was willing to sacrifice a larger optional compartment for a 2SRV hangar. Maybe another utility slot would help. I'd probably load it up with heat sinks for those unexpected "caught between two blue giants" moments.

I hope they don't add some wonky thing that preserves exploration data f the ship is destroyed. For me, I like the danger of losing weeks/months of data because of a stupid mistake or bad luck. It makes turning in the data feel more like an accomplishment when finally getting to a station with a ship that has only 6% hull and severely damaged powerplant.
