What they really need to heed the bazillions smaller problems which ones really draining our mood to play by the annoyance they cause, instead of starting a death spiral with things like their last stunt. You know the usual raising prices when the customers start to run out due of bad policies and even worse decisions. Result ---> less customer ---> more price raising and so on.

Hey, we are here to have fun, and not to see red because of the problems we constantly keep running into.

And to do this are actually works for a positive example see NMS & Cyberpunk.

Agreed.

I'm too old and slow for the PVE challenges but I take pride on never having been a bully, plus, bots don't complain so let's go solo...

Having said that, in my own time I'd be more than happy to play open as a fuel rat, it will take some time, training and sorting out but eventually it's a role appealing to me.

Btw. Developers speaks about new ships needed for exploration, it might mean variants of ships such as the Krait Phantom or Asp Explorer...

Let's just not talk about how much challenge someone holds whom only takes on n00bs... None, as far the other has a correctly engineered ship, and some peoples are in their mind to not protect these i'm rathernotsayingwhats. Which is as we know, let's just be frank! Even more dangerous as on their bad side.

BTW Folks...

I'm planning a trip to Colonia with my Fleet Carrier in the mid-term, I could carry a couple of ships if you're interested.

It's not gonna be a race, I go at my pace and take the opportunity to honk 4/5 systems around the carrier between each jumps but I get there without the trouble to have to jump every mn or so...

I'll stay in Colonia a few days/weeks but no longer, then back by a different route, I'm equipped for repair/refuel so you're not gonna stay stranded if you're out and anything happens.

Yeah, seriously when you see gankers queuing to buy the Python MK II you end up wondering if it's even enough, even more so because nobody is going to take them down without one or at least in a 1 vs 1 scenario, that's something Developers haven't foreseen.

>>>>>

For those who were wondering about Python MK II pre-built rebuy cost.

WTH? One more concession to gankers. Now they don't even get to pay Credits for the ship rebuy...

The reason of it some peoples as usual abused the loopholes in the system thus it won't go away by get yourself blown into smithereens in a sidey, nor you can simply just pay off immediately if did something really bad or just wait it out offline. yes it suxxx, simply because in the heat of battle sometimes it can happen to shoot the wrong guy, but hey! If you want to be a good guy, or neutral you do better to got used to it, you can't just shoot to everything what moves or simply just exist. And the point of it? It's Suxxx to be a bad guy...

Hi! Anyone have any idea which ship we're gonna see next and <> when?

I'm collecting as much material as I can to prep for engineering, anyway, it's good to have a new ship, I still prefer my Corvette or Krait MK II, one has tons of shield and weapons ooomph, the other a fighter hangar, and like I've done for DCS I support the game by buying a ship I'm not gonna use that much.

This happens to me from time to time when bounty hunting, not that I'm not careful to avoid blue on blue but sometimes a pirate has a bounty and is showing red in my system but not on his, so I end up with a fine and the label wanted... Pain in the backside.

I engineered an Imperial Eagle ship to visit the nearest interstellar factors, good thing about it, it looks good.

Yeah having to stay logged in is a bummer, I don't do footy jobs in this game (I signed up for the ships and transitioned to Odyssey later), but it's good to know. Thanks!
Interstellar Factor only refuses to pay off bounties(and fines) if you have notoriety… which is displayed in the right-hand panel on the first tab, in your ship at least.

Notoriety being what it is(a pretty dumb mechanic), goes up to 10 and decays with 1 point per 2 hours but you have to be logged in for it to go down(the main reason why it’s stupid). 1 point is accrued per ship kill, on-foot kills are ‘partial’ points.
And yes, I think my own thought is stupid when I read it: logically, you have the status "wanted" if there are bounties on your head!
Many thanks! I though the instellar factor isn't useble as long I'm wanted. I'll try to find one. Thanks again for the quick support.
You need to find a station that has an Interstellar Factor contact. You can pay off fines and bounties there, but they charge an extra 25%.

From the wiki:
Hello pilots,
I need help: I have a bounty on my head from a faction that has no stations or harbors or settlements with landing pads. As soon as I approach a settlement of the faction, I receive a warning for trespassing. How can I get rid of the bounty ...apart from having myself killed Thanks in advance for your help.
"Noted and appreciated." said Maul with an affirmative nod.

"I'll be around and available from now on. No more going dark...willingly anyhow. So, to reciprocate on your offer and continuous aiding of me; If you ever happen to need me for anything, just say the word and I'm there, Lammy." He said, with a nervous snicker at the silliness of the name 'Lammy'.
"Noting, I've done everything I want, and I can buy anything I'm missing. Mother and I had humble beginnings, so we're not good at having credits. As for the human experience, I have limited interest"

"Much like you, I do what ever needs doing for an army of managers and directors running what I built, far better than I ever could. I'm a gofor troubleshooter in my own company" said Lamb enterally happy with her role.

"You, however seem to be looking for direction. Once you find one, let me know, and I'll see what I can do to give you a push"
He's tendencies seemed to make as much sense to Lambast as it did himself, which is to say that it doesn't make a lick of sense at all.

"Not really, no."

Maul was the definition of a drifter. A home base may exist but most of his time was spent out and about getting mixed up in other peoples business, fighting for whoever paid the most, taking on contracts or finding rabbit holes to lose himself in. As the saying goes, "Wherever the wind blows, that's where I'm headed."

"I know you said you've basically finished the game of life, but everything you mentioned was material things. Strip those things away and tell me what Lamb the person wants, not Lamb the business woman."

As close as he felt Lambast and him were, he never really heard her discuss much of anything outside of business or financial wants. Perhaps that was as deep as it went.
Yep, I forgot to mention it - I removed the subscriber count requirement same as for the Photographer badge from there, so the badge tier increases may be observed.
Did something happen to the Writer badge requirements? It seems like I'm Tier 9 button masher now lol.
(not that I mind...)

I would object. The PR department likes to make things look all pretty. For those who… do not ask questions, anyway.
It works fine now, thanks. I’ll keep an eye on if that pesky issue returns, though. Those (code) bugs don’t like to stay squashed…
Ah, my apologies, I completely misunderstood the problem initially. Please resave your entry, it should hopefully work properly now. If not, please point me to the entry, so I can debug it right on the problematic piece of text. Thanks!
Though I don’t remember this being an issue before where quotes didn’t display in discussion posts and logs but using multiple within a logbook(which is the issue I am experiencing) didn’t cause the preview text to just vanish. EG I have a starting quote in quote block, normal text, then another quote, but the text between them is not shown in the preview.

Eg, I write

in a quote block, but then also write

in another later on, in that same log, “in a quote block, but then also write” will not be visible in the entry preview.

To put it simply - quoted text not showing in preview, that’s totally fine. The problem is that the text between two quote blocks will also disappear from the preview completely, which is an issue for log entries when the text starts off somewhere in the middle or the end of it instead of the start.

I encountered this issue before, except it was a lot more apparent because I put an OOC segment into a quote block at the end, and another was at the start. Upon publishing… there was exactly nothing in the preview and the site thought it had no text in it so it was not on the main page.

If this is not something which can be fixed, I’ll just use the spoiler tags to differentiate the text in the quote blocks from here. Just don’t like to because I think they’re unhelpful to the reading flow.
"I've got it, mostly. Currently, I want to build a star port closer to mum and dad, but that's turned into a town that needs construction. Somehow that growing project evolved into the problem I'm dealing with right now"

"Still, if it bothers me that much, I can buy land on almost any planet and build there, along with a new manor for mum and dad. As long as I don't try to buy a perfect tropical island on a Magrathian planet, the galaxy is my oyster."

Lambast thought about it for a moment. There were a few things missing in her life, but they came with penalties she wanted to avoid, like children.

"I suppose you could say I've finished the game, and now I'm just being picky. You, Mr Montresor, need to pick a psychosis and stick to it. Feeling you are responsible for everyone's well-being suggests you feel as if you are in control of everything. That dose pair with feeling alone in a crowd, if you feel superior to them, but I don't think you do, and I highly doubt you feel in control. Hence the drugs, I suppose. Whatever the case, narcissism is my thing Mr Montresor, stay out of my lane; I'm better at it than you"

"Do you have any sense of what's next once you have completed your exorcism tour of the bubble?"
Yes, I made some internal preparations for it already, but as nobody asked about it I postponed it indefinitely. But I will revisit it as I guess it will be more handy to have it here than with the external sheet.
Ah, yes, it's there to collapse/shorten the deeply nested quotes in the discussion posts. As such thing isn't very standard for the logbooks, it's unlikely it will be changed.

Hello, it was caused by a low number of subscribers. But as I am thinking about it, it's probably too "harsh" to have it there, so I removed that condition and you should see a higher badge tier here now. Thanks for the feedback.

I am about to start a new play-through, again...;) to test the new extreme settings available in next version 1.11

I would like to track in the Captain's Log the skill magazines I find.
Is it possible to add a tab in the Captain'Log ?
I suggest that the tab displays this data : Magazine name (with link to page), issue number and a check box.

For now I will use these two Google sheets to track my progress :
