Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I want to build a special group inside our Wing with their own Forum Thread, but I cant add higher ranked CMDRs to it.
It could also be some kind of "Special Forces Group" Option in the Wing Organisation to not interfere with the Flight, Squadron logic.

Darthjazzhands: Hmmm... I see no issue there. I just tested it and reserves are able to see the missions that are set as "recruits excluded".

Not into the current structures, but the option for some kind of special forces/task groups is on my list.

It was set. The mechanism doesn't worth the effort, as the 'influx' of new PMF that slipped out of my attention isn't high and own player factions can be eventually edited by officers of a wing assigned to them eventually.

The big news! The Inara API is out of beta and can be freely used. I want to express thanks to everybody who participated in testing and are developing apps for it, especially to Otis B. for implementing inAPI to ED:Market Connector and MrSheepSheep, who is developing an Inara to EDMC plugin.
What it means for you? Well, at least for PC/Mac commanders, there is unfortunately no way how to do that for console players at this moment. For example, a pretty 'simple' thing - you can now have your CMDR profiles updated automatically during your gameplay session by using some of the tools listed here. The manual journals import is needed no more.
Of course, inAPI is not just about that and there are additional features planned for it and it will be further developed. With this update there were also other improvements on Inara made, like missions naming improvements in the log, mission log monthly summaries and various minor tweaks on other places.
So, shields up and fly safe!
Important note: If you are using the original Inara to EDMC plugin for ED:MarketConnector, please disable it. It is not compatible with Inara anymore and wait eventually for the new plugin version. ED:MarketConnector v2.4.6.1 is handling Inara updates in its base version without any plugin, too.

A few minutes ago (12 NOV @ 1621) I attempted to update my credits manually as I normally do at the end of the day. I can enter my new credits but the credits do not update. I logged out then back in and it did it again. Whenever you have time can you take a look? My credit balance should read 423,249,361. Thanks.

Ah, I needed to change something and forgot to change everything related. It should work now.
