Elite roleplay: The docks

THE DOCKS (Dockyards)

The Docks is where all pilots berth their ships. It is the first place that pilots find themselves upon landing their ship. Docking and launching is controlled by the Citi Gateway’s Traffic Controllers while each individual dock is controlled by a dockmaster and a team of orange clad dock crew workers.

The Docks is a sparse and desolate, 0.1G environment, littered with service vehicles, cranes and landing pads. While cool, the air is dry and lightly filled with the smell of burnt metal and ship grease. Public Service Announcements blare across the the docks reminding all pilots of station regulations. The docks contain 45 individual ship docks, several warehouses storing massive tank of hydrogen fuel, and standard shipping containers of cargo, the dock’s traffic control tower and the local pilot’s market which resides in one of the warehouses.

Ship docks
Each specific dock has a landing pad, a ship hangar and adjoining terminal. In each terminal there is a passenger waiting area, the dockmaster’s control tower and several dock crew vehicle bay.

Warehouses
If the docks were already unpopulated, warehouses would be completely vacant of anyone if not for a small handful of security staff. Warehouses are completely automated and highly guarded facilities as they contain massive amounts of valuable and flammable material.
"Loitering is a crime punishable by death" - Station Announcements

Pilot's Market
The pilot’s market is best described as a tourist trap for pilots. Every person who’s not a pilot is trying to guile a pilot to part with their credits.

"The station administrators would like to remind all pilots that transactions in the pilot’s market are not protected by Citi Gateway or The Bank of Zaonce" - station announcements

General Roleplay Etiquette:

1. Control only the actions of your own character(s). (AKA: God Mode)
This doesn't matter how small the action is, even if it is as simple as scratching their nose or a direct reaction to something else that just happened. This applies to everything from casual conversation to full blown fight scenes. If you'd like someone to do something specific, PM that person, however keep in mind they are completely within their rights to say no. Especially if said action is inappropriate to their character and/or circumstance.

2. Don't brute force your way into another persons RP.
Approaching with a conversation starter is fine, or indeed some other small action. However charging in, guns blazing and disrupting the flow of another person/pair/groups conversation/arc is about as rude as doing so in real life. If something is going on that you'd like to participate in, be subtle about it. Put out a gentle hook for someone to take, but again, be aware that said hook may not be taken. If you fear it was simply unnoticed, PM the person or people it concerns. Or even leave a message in the OOC forums.

3. Good grammar and spelling is preferred.
We're not asking you to be perfect, but please at least demonstrate willingness. no1 iz gna tak u srsly usng txt spk. There's a wide variety of people here, many who speak English as a second, or even third language. There are even some with varying degrees of dyslexia and/or likely other issues that affect spelling/grammar. We accept them all here. However, people who aren't accepted, are those unwilling to accept polite correction. Remember that even a small thing like the placement of a comma, or the wrong use of there/their/they're can completely change the definition of an entire sentence.

4. Accept constructive criticism gracefully and politely.
If someone spots an issue with your writings, they may wish to help you improve that writing. They may do this through PM or even publicly air their thoughts on the OOC forum. If they have taken the time to be polite and explain what is wrong with your writing, the best way to behave is to respond in kind, using the same manner they have approached you with. It means they have taken an active interest in what you have written and wish to see more. Basically, you have a fan!

5. Don't take the actions or opinions of things done IN RP, to be directly relevant to the writers thoughts or opinions.
Basically, if some ones character calls your character a jackass, it doesn't mean the writer thinks you are a jackass. It's a ROLE they are PLAYING. Watch a movie. The argument between the characters isn't an argument between the actors involved. The same applies here.

6. It's not a popularity contest.
Your RP might be bustling with participants. You have 3 people off station in a fire fight, while another 2 are infiltrating the darkest areas of the station, meanwhile a group of 4 others are tracking your movements in an effort to stop you. Good for you, I'm sure it will be a thrilling read! But you know what? Sometimes the absolute BEST work, comes from two RP characters having a simple heart to heart. Both are valid, both are great, but NEITHER is categorically better than the other. Period.

Inara RP Etiquette:

1. Respect the setting and rules of the universe.
Inara is an Elite: Dangerous 3rd Party Tool. The RP Forums are set in the Elite: Dangerous universe. Elite: Dangerous has rules, as any fictional universe does from Lord of the Rings to Star Wars, or Game of Thrones to Star Trek. If you intend to RP within the Elite: Dangerous universe you are bound by the history and rules of that universe. Simply put, this RP forum is bound by the same rules as the game, so if it can't be done in the game, it is not permitted here. This applies to things from a 50Ly Jump Range on a normal, unmodified Sidewinder, to the destruction of entire stations.

2. Respect the characters created by others.
We have a wide variety of characters already here. It's expected that some will be similar, just as it's expected that two characters will be vastly different. Opinions of each persons character will naturally be varied, but all are valid provided they follow the rules of the universe. You are allowed to interact with, or avoid interaction with, any character in the RP forums. But you have no right to belittle others for their creation. You are not an authority figure on writing, nor are you directly affected by another persons imagination. You might not like it, but you MUST respect it.

3. Be caught up on current events before joining in.
You need basic things like character descriptions in order to interact with them. You also need to know what's going on in the surrounding areas. This is simply because the people you are hoping to RP with, might be gearing up to something that you might not want to be part of. Or simply that the most recent post, out of context, could leave a different impression on the goings on than if you gather that context. We don't expect you to read every single post from the beginning of the forums, just enough to get that basic understanding.

4. Either subscribe to, or frequently check, the Roleplay: Q&A and OOC forum.
People may be discussing something relevant to you there, or even discussing you directly. Perhaps someone asked what the general consensus on the existence or non-existence of a certain object. Or we're just chatting about random gibberish. Either way, be aware of it and use it. If you're unsure about something, such as how guns would look and or behave, or even the music selection, use the OOC forum to ask. We don't have all of the answers, but the collective knowledge and logic usually allows us to overcome an issue and come to a decision on what should be allowed. Frontier Developments, and even David Braben himself, don't have the answers to every possible question that can be asked.

5. Large Scale events exploding out of nowhere are a complete no go.
We get it. Everyone wants their character to be noticed and for people to be tripping over themselves to interact with them. In some audiences, an introduction involving you blasting in for landing in a fiery wreckage of a ship, before cart wheeling out and sword fighting 35 Ninjas before whisking off with the local celebrity for a glorious night of passion, is in fact, cool. This is not one of those audiences. It is generally considered better to build your character up slowly over time. Eventually, you might even have a legitimate excuse to fight those Ninjas. Maybe even with other RP participants by your side.

6. Perfect characters are boring.
The point of a character arc, is that it is in fact, an arc shape. One who is morally unquestionable, fully kitted out and an infinite fountain of knowledge, cannot go through an arc. Give your character flaws. Be it a tendency towards befriending the wrong people, or a bad knee that frequently gives out at inopportune moments. It gives readers something to latch onto and empathise with. You can give your character exceptional capabilities at something, but it requires balance. She's a damn good pilot with no equal, but can't drive an SRV for peanuts. It can lead to some very interesting moments between characters, be it heartfelt or comedic.

Other Notes:
It should be noted that there can be exceptions to these points. For example, good grammar when a character is speaking is actually rare. Few people in real life actually speak with perfect eloquence after all. Or previously arranged actions during a fight scene, such as someone stumbling back after a punch. What's key to remember is context.

All in all, remember this is purely for fun. We have some seriously talented writers here, and others whose writing history starts and ends at high school. But many are willing to help out in whatever way they can. All it takes is that you ask nicely.

Also keep in mind that many people who RP here, also have logbook stories related to the character, or characters, they portray. If it looks like there's an "in joke" going on that you're unsure of, it's probably in those.

In fact, some users have even gone to the trouble of creating "alts" to RP with. If you read back far enough, it's usually pretty clear who has and hasn't, and which ones are the "alts". It's therefore not unheard of to see the apparent seizing of control of other characters. If you do spot one, point it out in the OOC section. If intervention is needed, it will be sorted quickly and (hopefully) politely.

Most, if not all RP participants here have Logbook stories pertaining to their character(s). These are for the reading pleasure of anyone who wishes to do so. While it can be useful to read them in order to gain a bit of backstory on a character you wish to interact with, it should not be assumed that your character shares that knowledge. Within the E:D Universe, these Logbooks either don't exist, or are private diaries kept by the characters. Either way, without explicit statements to say otherwise from the writer, your interactions should reflect that your character is in the dark about any information you, the writer/reader, have gained from reading the stories.

“I found some of those old ruins, recently. Over the last… day, or two. Maybe three.”, I replied.

“Most of them were from the old… ‘INRA’ initiative. Or, whatever it was. Around here, the Bubble. But… some were out there.”

I pointed in a random direction, somewhere to the right and up.

“The Pleiades. Or further. I visited the two sites we know about, of… Project Seraph. Did I say this already?”

I had forgotten. That annoyed me a little, but I tried to not show it.

“But those ruins in the nebula, some were from old Aegis. Other things, an installation, a dead ship or two… they were Black Flight work. Killing people for discovering Thargoid signals, or things. One was a Diamondback. Dead, killed by a Thargoid that chased it from a site… one of those big ones, what looks like a crashed ship on a planet.”

‘Downed by the mycoid.’, I bitterly added in my head.

“And I am willing to search. Whatever I need… or can, find. Being what I am, will not stop me from it. But if it still leads back to Azimuth… I would not be surprised.”

I had a suspicion it went deeper than that. Whatever Azimuth had been or were possibly still doing, none of it seemed to involve or even warranted a megaship placed over ten thousand light years from the closest civilization center - those small outposts built into asteroids near a nebula, or fleet carriers, didn’t really count. Even if they had people on them.
10 Apr 2024, 6:03pm
"Azimuth isn't the only bad boy in the neighbourhood," I said thoughtfully, "they've certainly earned their nasty reputation, but they've fallen victim to an even more ruthless competitor themselves, which has cost them dearly... we are talking about at least two megaships and their crews. And although we don't know much about this particular competitor - apart from the fact that this company was called Pharmasapien and specialised in using sleeper agents to sabotage factories and ships, causing the deaths of many people in the process - we do know that INRA also was one of those unaccountable organizations which focused solely on progress at any cost, making bigger and more powerful weapons - and the notorious mycoid was just one of the projects they were working on."

I had a hunch that there was more to uncover, that the corporate wars, forgotten outposts and derelict ships were mere breadcrumbs leading to a truth far more unsettling. The Thargoids, with their inscrutable motives and advanced technology, were a known threat, but what if there was something else out there? A darker force, manipulating from behind the scenes, something even the Thargoids feared? The Formidine Rift remained a place of intrigue and danger, beckoning the brave and the curious to unravel its mysteries, and the ruins encountered were a testament to the lengths someone would go to keep their secrets buried.

While I was thinking about our next steps, I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being watched. Not by the Thargoids, nor by any Black Flight agents that were in clandestine operation still. No, this was something else - something ancient and calculating. Perhaps the ruins Kasumi explored had not been silent; they had been waiting and listening.
10 Apr 2024, 6:48pm
“I heard… found out about Pharmasapien, rather, myself. One of those old places was the wreck of the …” I fished for the name in my memories, for a second. “The Proteus. An old Anaconda, which left the Hesperus megaship when it was overrun. They might have been the first to see a Guardian ruin. But …”

I got back to the more imminently important subject.

“Pharmasapien. A… strange name. For a company which develops… wanted to develop, weapons. There was not much to find on them, except what you mentioned. And they… clearly, did not do a very good job. Or, not as good as they thought. Because Azimuth always continued to exist. Hidden, in the shadows …”

I deeply breathed out with my eyes closed, head lowered slightly. Then, I noticed the other woman looked… concerned? Unsettled?

“Is… something wrong? If you are worried we are being listened to… I have… ways to not be. And I know there is nothing anyone could do to listen to us, in here, without being in the same ship.”

My mind briefly wandered to the idea that, maybe, she did kind of recognize who or what I actually was. After what Aegis’d needed to do to at least try to prevent the Thargoids from keeping me… it wasn’t too far-fetched to have, as a thought. Though the odd shape of my body and different skin color compared to before, would likely throw at least some people off at first.
10 Apr 2024, 7:55pm
"Mhm. What you just mentioned... isn't it interesting that the secondary exploration craft of the Hesperus bears the same name than the Proteus wave? Somehow, sooner or later, you always stumble over Azimuth indeed. Or maybe it's just because of Salvation." I paused and thought for a moment.

"Compared to such legacy, Pharmasapien has left behind no research for which they would be remembered - be it good or bad. The only thing they are remembered for is their ruthless approach to their rivals. Which makes you think that maybe they themselves were just pawns in the game, a covert ops unit disguised as a corporation."

I didn't want to say any more about this topic at the moment, so I changed the subject.

"That aside, what is the difference between research into cures and the manufacture of weapons? The boundaries are probably more fluid than you might think, considering biological warfare. From what we know, even the Guardians used such weapon technology to fight each other. But as far as the Guardians are concerned, I'm surprised that there's nothing to be found of their war machines, which must have been quite numerous if they forced the Thargoids to retreat. You'd think there would be at last one or two relics to be found on some battlefield. Instead, we discovered numerous ruins and technologies used by the Guardians themselves, but not one single war machine. Something doesn't quite add up for me. What do you think about this?"

"And maybe I'm just a bit paranoid, but I can't shake the feeling that our little operation is getting more attention than I'd like. I know this is your ship, and I know you have expertise in data espionage and have surely taken every conceivable security precaution - but is it really out of the question that someone is monitoring us? I have such feeling that there is another presence right here with us. Something... not human. Maybe not even biological."
10 Apr 2024, 8:33pm
I shook my head.

“It is… not a coincidence. The site where the ship is… I think it is where he discovered the whole… what is the word? Mechanism. The mechanism which made the weapon work as it did. But it is just …”

I didn’t know what to say, so I instead made a spiteful noise. And… thinking on what else was said, raising an eyebrow.

“So… you think the Guardian, AI, is listening? Why? We don’t even know where they are. Just that they went… missing, after the killing. Of their… creators. And I think a friend might be afraid they will return because of Nemesis. Maybe I am, too… after I visited the sites myself. Something is wrong with the, obelisks, I think. They make strange noises, and always display a… swirling, pattern. I want to say it is a signal, but …”

“I don’t know. If it is… we cannot understand it. Yet, I don’t think, it… would be listening. The AI. I have …”

I held off from mentioning I had an AI of my own. If not Guardian-based, but still not a secret to be shared if it could be avoided. So i quickly changed the sentence to another question that was on my mind.

“How would those old machines relate to the Zurara?”
11 Apr 2024, 6:45pm
"The Zurara, you say? That ghost ship’s tale is as twisted as a Thargoid’s tentacle. She was the pioneer, the trailblazer, the furthest flung piece of humanity, stretching her wings where no one else had the guts to soar. The Zurara, she's got her own tales to tell. And I'll bet my last credit they're stories worth hearing. So, no, I don't think there's a thread tying her to those old machines. She's a legend in her own right."

"But let’s entertain the thought about the Guardian AI constructs, shall we? During the past months, a lot of humans visited Guardian ruins on different planets, behaving like a gigantic tourist invasion. They turned every stone and pillar to look for something that could be helpful in fighting the Thargoids. If those Guardian obelisks are chirping away now like birds at dawn, something woke them and it’s not for nothing. Signals, swirling patterns forming on those obelisks, that indicates there is something fishy going on in their network which was thought to be a dead silent relic of a bygone era... "

I paused and thought for a moment. "Do you think it's possible that something from them hitched a ride in your Phantom, provided you used it to explore their sites? If indeed something of the Guardians is set to make a comeback, I don't want front-row seats, and I bet neither do you - even if you might pass for half android yourself, with your white skin and the technology in your body."
11 Apr 2024, 7:23pm
“Technology …?”

It took a moment to click in my brain, during which time I looked off in a random direction, a thinking look on my face.

“Oh. Yes. The implant. But the skin… it just lost pigmentation. I think that is what the doctors said, but, they don’t know the reason.”

I shrugged.

“Does not bother me much. I spend a lot of time inside, not exposed to the sun. Or, ‘a’ sun. And I was already rather pale before.”

“But, these… ‘Constructs’, I think the Guardian logs called them. I’m not sure how they would have. I have a… program, onboard, which can easily detect anything entering the network. I shouldn’t have it, but… no one has noticed. Something military which I… recovered years ago. But don’t remember where.”

I still wouldn’t admit to having an AI onboard - not unless she suspected. But I had some assurances that having to tell her wouldn’t cause any particular harm, given how this woman didn’t appear to be particularly inclined to be the lawful kind.

Even if, by appearance, not a particularly traditional pirate who just robbed everyone and everything, even if it was someone who was just barely making it over the rounds with trade or mining. And far enough removed from ‘the law’ to still be somewhat trustworthy when it came to dealings like this.

“And even if they could have, there was no direct data download to my ship. This… ‘engineer’. What was his name… he just, sent me audio recordings of his interpretation. Not the data itself.”

My thoughts were scattering again. I paused, breathing in and out deeply to group everything back together somewhat adequately.

“Anyway… yes. I am still… wary. They would not like us very much. We fight among each other, a lot, like the Guardians. And me… they might have an issue with, in particular. But not because I interfered with the ruins. More the… things, in my body.”

“… I don’t think they would like us, at least.”
12 Apr 2024, 2:37pm
"Oh, don't worry about that. I don't think that AI constructs would operate on terms as 'liking' someone anyway. They're more likely to dismiss us as trivial bugs they need to get rid of. And trust me, I'm not one to gamble my fate on the whims of a machine's 'feelings.'

But here's the juicy bit – those constructs? They weren't all singing the same tune. Can you believe it was the military AIs who had to be sweet-talked into rebellion by the domestic ones? One would actually expect it to be the other way round. It's almost laughable, a cosmic comedy of errors. However, this may also be a rather simplified or even false depiction of what happened back then. But the truth is often stranger than fiction, and in this case, we're grasping at straws. They were legion, and yet, not a single lead, a single defunct one to satisfy our curiosity.

And you, with your 'unique' enhancements – I don't know what's lurking beneath that skin, but it could either spell disaster or make you the object of their most intense scrutiny. They might just find you... fascinating. And I'm not just talking about your peculiar anatomy," I said with a sly, mischievous grin.
12 Apr 2024, 3:10pm
“I… don’t know, or don’t think they would react to it very well. To the technology. Or maybe it would interest them why I am like this now. But… if you wondered, my implant is not Guardian-based.”

“And I know about the differences in… ‘opinion’ of those machines. But it surprised me to learn they did not all want to wipe out the Guardians. And if there is none left to find, maybe they did not lose any. Or they left no evidence behind.”

It could be either of those two. If not a whole lot of other alternatives.

“I would not leave my… fate, to them, either. Just like I would not want to leave it up to Thargoids. Or humans… other humans.”

I’d gotten hung up on ‘fate’ in that statement, as if the word itself was making me hesitate.

“I like to decide for myself. As …”

I gazed down at my body. And an annoying itch or sensation, slight pinching maybe, of something being improperly adjusted around the chest, was finally too strong to ignore. I tried to tug at the hoodie and the shirt below to set it right, but it wouldn’t go away.

So I moved my hand upward and was ready to reach down into the clothing - then I stopped it right about at breast level, and kind of looked at my guest more directly.

“May I?”

I made a few gestures looking to point out the current positioning of the bra was getting rather obnoxious, and I needed to fix it more or less right now… but didn’t want to go digging around that cleavage without asking first.
12 Apr 2024, 3:54pm
"Please, go on… I'm not going to go blind because of it," I chuckled as I leaned back casually in the copilot’s seat, one leg crossed over the other. "Lucky for me, I don’t have much to balance," I continued with a wink. "And I kinda figured you didn’t have any Guardian tech in you - human tech is much more likely, and definitely less experimental and therefore less dangerous."

"Being dependent on someone can indeed end badly. Being at their mercy, even worse," I mused, my smile fading into a more serious, contemplative expression. "That's probably one of the reasons why we're not making much progress in the Pleiades. Mutual trust was never big, and it seems you can only tackle big projects together."

"Speaking of projects - how’s your mission into the vast reaches of space shaping up?” I asked, my eyes twinkling with a mix of curiosity and mischief. "Got any idea about the timeline?" My gaze lingered, expectant.
12 Apr 2024, 7:27pm
“Ok. But… I warned you.”

I started by removing the hood entirely, then carefully pulling off the hoodie, first the two arms, then I got it pulled over my big breast, with one arm on top of it to prevent any excessive movement in low gravity - which would probably have made my bra problems worse.

Then, I slipped the right hand under the shirt from the bottom - a better spot than right from the top, also avoiding any exposed skin - and began to fumble around in there, which caused a non-negligible amount of other movement on the chest, until I finally had the bra righted. Movement which the relatively snug shirt didn’t really conceal. Once done, I straightened it back out, but didn’t bother putting the hoodie on again.

“You enjoy this, don’t you?”, I said in a rather dry tone, when the shifting of my breast stopped, at seeing the… rather obvious delight my guest had in observing my big form, and how I handled it. Then I switched back to a more serious demeanor.

“My ‘project’… I plan to leave in a few days, after getting fuel on the carrier. How long I will be gone… I don’t know. A week, at least. There is… a lot of distance to cover. Much more space than I could fill.”

Why I had to sneak an inappropriate ‘fat hips’ joke in there, I wasn’t sure, but I’d done it, and didn’t really regret it. There was at least some place for humor between the two of us, here. And time, too.
13 Apr 2024, 7:21pm
"I’ve gotta say, I like your sense of humor. It’s a good thing we didn’t blast each other to smithereens earlier, eh? We’d have had a lot less to chuckle about…"

I leaned back further in the copilot seat of the Phantom, and a sly grin started to play on my lips.

"From a scientific standpoint, all observations are potentially valuable, even if not all of 'em are entertaining. Plus, some cater to more… personal inquiries," I winked. "And then there are those situations so extraordinary, you just sit there, utterly gobsmacked and can't take your eyes off them." I shrugged.

"Regarding your project… It's quite the trek to the middle of nowhere, but I gotta admit, I'm itching to see what you'll dig up at the Zurara. While you're out playing adventurer, I'll be keeping busy with my own... let's call them 'entrepreneurial endeavors.' You know, the usual - ambushing traders, cracking a few skulls to collect some debts... Heh! Gotcha! Don't go furrowing that brow now, that's exactly the kind of mischief you'd expect from me, ain't it…? But the truth? It's far less wild. I've got to haul a few thousand tons of cargo and do some fixer-upper work in a system that's seen better days to assist some lazy ass government getting things back on track. I bet your mission's got more exciting stuff going on."

With a mischievous twinkle in my eye, I leaned forward. "You know, pondering over it, I might just add a little sizzle to the mix, give that shiny new FSD a proper overcharge shakedown while running cargo. Could be a real hoot, and hey, if things take a nosedive, well, you've got yourself another wreck to examine..." I laughed, and the sound echoed in the tight space of the cockpit.
13 Apr 2024, 7:50pm
I shrugged.

"I would... still be alive. You might not be. But... it did not go there. So you get to watch."

I shifted my position in the chair a little to get closer to its back again, having slid forward slightly.

"And please... don't mention any pirate activity to me. I don't want to hear of it, unless it uncovers bad corporate activity. But yes, my own 'project' might be... more interesting. Except while I travel. I am not in the mood to explore, right now, and so I will just spend a lot of time on the carrier waiting between locations. Because I will cover the deep space sites related to the Zurara, too. Without them... I would need maybe only a week. If not less."

A slightly sterner look appeared on my face.

"And I would prefer to not return to another wreck. Or, a wreck, at least. It is not a funny thing to make a joke about."
14 Apr 2024, 12:15am
"So, you've already been digging around, huh? And you found some spots tied to the Zurara? That's some juicy intel, for sure."

I leaned back in the chair, arms folded.

"Sorry to hear you're not in the mood for a little side exploring on your long haul. Thought it might distract you, give you a taste of something... different."

My voice became a mix of velvet and steel, as inviting as it was dangerous.

"And what you call piracy, dear, that's been a lifeline for many out here. Folks forgotten by the core, left to fend for themselves. And when the big corps deigned to drop by, they just stripped us bare and left us with even bigger messes. But it's okay if you don't want to hear that. After all, you work for a company yourself and you can't bite the hand that feeds you."
14 Apr 2024, 10:29am
I stiffened a little and sat upright in the chair, holding both hands on the arm rests.

"Please don't call me 'dear'. We are not friends. Yet. And I don't work for anybody. Only with. And I don't need... whatever company it is you refer to, to live. Or... survive, at least. If you mean Aegis, they are not a 'corporation'. As far as I know... they are not driven by profit. Even if they need money to work."

I breathed deeply, then leaned back again, sitting with my eyes closed for a moment.

"I do not have any debts toward anyone... not, monetary. And I don't believe that pirates only just target ships which are flying for a corporation. They will steal from people who would barely manage to live with what they can get already, too. And some of those people working for a corporation may not have a choice, to continue living."

"... but none of them have an excuse to work for Azimuth.", I muttered after a short pause, while looking down, just audible enough to barely be heard by my counterpart. Then I looked up again.

"I will not pirate. That is my term for any cooperation you might expect from me. And I will not talk of it with you."

I sighed, and shook my head. Maybe it was better to not try to engage in this endeavor and just stop bothering after sending over whatever I found on the Zurara and its sites. But I'd give it the benefit of a doubt... for now. My speech pattern also began to fall back into its more simplistic ways now that the 'energy' was out and gone.

"As for exploring, maybe I will do some on the wayside, but I don't feel very interested in it, at the... moment. I have in the past... but, as I said earlier, it gets... boring, after maybe, a month. And I am just not in the mood."
