It was more for those who arent familiar with it. saves them having to search it themselves. The FSD hyperspace traversal I thought i read somewhere that it just picks the highest mass object in a system and opens the wormhole direct to that.

Oh, yeah. Of course.

And that idea does support my own experience. It’s especially noticeable in those odd systems where the star you jump to is located at the bottom of the system map, because it is the highest mass body(even though there can be a binary or trinary pair that, technically, has more combined mass).

Yup, that's how it works, the highest mass has the largest gravitational effect, so that will going to pull the ship out without finer hyper sensors and navigation. In theory at this case any other mass can pull us out as long it's anywhere close to the straight line pulled between the starting and target system. It's just a question of timing, and targeting.

Pure curiosity, how will the ERS respond to the whole thing about recovering captured people from the Titans?

Was giving that some thought and since there is no way to extract only Imperial citizens, it would be a waste of ERS money to fund rescue expeditions to the titans. However, maybe the rescued citizens could be brought to Emerald after completing quarantine/deprogramming/whatever. I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head regarding the types of people brought from the titans that ERS might be willing to accept but have not mapped anything out yet.

In a sense yes it was a time dilation. I'm trying to work out exactly how it would all make sense. Because I am diving into theoretical territory my entries will be spread out. I want to ensure I get every bit of the theories correct in a way that makes sense.

Time dilatation in basic situation has very little to do with albe currie drive that thingy's idea is to avoid the misery of it instead of going awfully fast simply by just bending space itself. Where time dilatation can come in to the picture by combining with your normal albe currie drive you can cut more time from the travel time it whenever internally or externally is other topic both is useful if both is a low key version internal can help you on the relative spent time in low wake, or normal travel time my guess is this is star dreaming from 2 & 3 if it's external (IE speeds up time instead of slowing it) cuts down the objective necessary time. at the cost of, we spend more relative time.

However? what i'm interesting at, how time dilatation can help on us shooting up the biggest freakin torpedo in our arsenal of a thargoid scout engine, instead of you know? Simply just hitting the afterburner.

Now if star dreamer was what i thing it was, it can actually help us a lot in battle situation by speeding up relative time, which results bullet time flight. But sadly i don't see this will actually going to happen in game. Too much of a buff. Deus Ex machina level thing. No sir! JJ can wrecked the thargoids with that disease when he was the only and this was our only trump card, but nothing like this going to happen now.
