SIRIUS CORP EMPLOYEE FILE - COMMANDER CHUCKDM

Minted as an official Pilot's Federation pilot in July 3304, Charlize Daemon Mushkin - or Chuck, as she prefers to be called - was originally a deep space mining technician.  Born to a celtic father from Sirius and a russian mother from Earth, neither of which ever had money, Chuck grew up trying to always strike a balance between becoming her mother or her father, while hoping to have more money than the two combined.  After showing an acute aptitude for identifying various ores without the aid of mining tools, she was fast-tracked through Sirius Corp's deep space mining school, and placed as a drill technician within the company when it was discovered during her training that he was even more adept with machinery than with ore.  Chuck's big break came in 3302 when, during an EV walk, she discovered a piece of debris that had lodged in a drill's vent.  The drill was a special prototype mining laser, one of the first of its kind, and Chuck's sharp eye and quick maneuvering saved the multi-billion credit machine from certain oblivion - not to mention the lives of the miners operating it.  The prototype drill was a success and years later, was used to develop the ship-mounted lasers we use today, meaning Chuck literally saved asteroid mining itself. In a private meeting with Li Yong-Rui, he offered to give Chuck anything she wanted.  Yong-Rui was a little surprised when all that was asked of him was a Sidewinder, and he gladly obliged.

Chuck took the ship and began a life as as a security escort for cargo vessels, hauling the occasional two tons of Lavian Brandy during slow times.  After almost two years, she wound up escorting a Pilot's Federation trader in a Lakon Type-6 and managed to defeat two pirate Eagles in her Sidewinder, saving the trader twice in a single trip.  Unbeknownst to Chuck, the Trader had a Tycoon rank with the Pilot's Federation, and on his recommendation, Chuck became a newly minted Harmless, Penniless, and Aimless Pilot within a week. She set to work changing this immediately.

Since her minting as an official Pilot's Federation Commander, it is largely unknown what she has done to make all her money, as she tends to keep to herself.  What is known is that she is not a pirate, and that a few less pirates are observed in any system she visits.  While this would seem to suggest Chuck is now a bounty hunter, the economies of these systems also see a notable boost, leading many to believe she is a profitable trader.  Perhaps most outlandish of all, personnel stationed at some of the galaxy's most remote outposts, from Omega Mining to Caravanserai, tell tall tales about an over engineered Dolphin and its heavily accented pilot, and the millions of credits of exploration data she brings with her during her irregular visits to their stations, suggesting that Chuck may now have become a deep space explorer. Suffice to say only Chuck herself knows where her money came from, and she has not been an easy woman to locate.
