Riley was born in the year 3284, August, the 12th, in the unremarkable Cupis system, planet 7. He have some unusual biological features since birth, like intersexuality, heterochromia, and others*. Other than that, Riley was a normal and healthy human. He graduated from pilot school and earned degrees in astrobiology and astrophysics. He has also been fascinated by the history of the ancient Earth since his youth, but never got a chance to learn it in depth.
Riley has blond, fluffy, curly shoulder-length hair, bangs usually secured with a hairpin. Like mentioned before, he has eyes of different colors: the right one is green, the left one is amber. Also, Riley has a rare anomaly in the development of the ears, which make them "elf" shaped*.
His daily, off-job outfits are pretty minimalistic and comfy. Rarely wears hats. Most (but not all) of his closet consists of oversized pants and sweaters - in general, to summarize, he prefers light, minimalist and comfortable clothes. Overalls, jeans, sneakers, even skirts - anything that fits "comfy" description.
His on-job, pilot look is usually more strict. Hair is pulled back and secured with a hair band. He wears a white flight suit with opaque helmet, that he usually never takes off - safety first. Also he wears some white-red clothes and boots over the flight suit, that allowed by the regulations of pilot's federation.
In the year 3303, he became a member of the pilots federation and embarked on a career as a commander. Riley currently works with Children of Raxxla, but he also had contracts in the past with Royal Phoenix Security Group (RPSG), Canonn Research Group and Close Encounters Corps (CEC). Riley believes that violence against all sentient species and other living beings is suboptimal; unless the violence was done in defense. Therefore, he has never engaged in piracy or other illegal activities. However, he does believe that the oppressed have a right to resist and fight the oppressor by any means necessary.
Throughout his career, Riley has achieved many accomplishments. Discovered many Earth-like and terraformable worlds, been to the center of the galaxy, to the Colony, to the Beagle Point, and beyond. Discovered many species of flora and fauna. Provided a lot of humanitarian help to systems in need. Helped building the Colonia bridge. And the list goes on. Riley wouldn't brag much about his accomplishments.
*** Additional Information ***
In the year 3305, September ██, while delivering some courier mission with "expansion data", Riley's ship "ASP Explorer" was pursued and an attempt was made to kill the commander and prevent the disclosure of the data on board. Apparently, one of the missions contained very serious classified data. To this day, not even Riley can say, what this data contained or why the non-disclosure of this data was so important to an "unknown corporation".
This incident was tried to be covered up in every way possible. However, after the rescue crew saved the black box from Riley's ship, journalists and authorities of the local systems became very curious about the incident. Because the escape pod with Riley was damaged, part of Riley's memory was lost. He couldn't remember anything that had happened in the last few months. So when the authorities tried to question Riley about what had happened, all attempts were unsuccessful. Eventually, some of the memories did came back to him. Yet he couldn't remember what data he was delivering - it looks like part of his brain had permanently cut out the traumatic events from his memory. Fortunately, thanks to modern medicine and timely medical treatment, Riley was able to return to his normal life as a Pilot Federation commander. Well, "normal" for some, but certainly not for Riley.
Eventually, the local journalistic investigation has reached a dead end. The journalists might given up, but not Riley. To this day, he is piecing together the events of that fateful day. Some would say... "Move on, it's the past". But something about all this feels... Odd.
Who would put such an effort in killing just for some regular courier mission?
