From North America, Earth. Born into a lower middle-class family, my life was pretty unimpressive up until I decided to join the Pilot's Federation.
It's well known how much power and wealth the PF holds, so once I was accepted for pilot training and they had me shipped all the way out to their Rookie CMDR's area of the bubble around 60 light years away, I wasn't surprised.

Amazing to think of what our species has accomplished, to be able to seemingly on a whim fling someone out into space some 600 trillion kilometers from their home just to show them the ropes of flying starships.

As with all applicants, upon completion of my training I was gifted a Sidewinder. Since then, I've seen things beyond incredible and travelled further than I have ever imagined I would.
