Quantum engineer. That's who I was. Well, before the accident anyway. It was not my fault technically. But they needed a scapegoat to take them blame. Thus I found myself without a job and I thought this was it. I'm done for. But then, life has a strange way of turning around.

An old friend enrolled me in a Pilot's Federation course and set me up with a Sidewinder. For a while I did odd jobs around the galaxy to make credits. These days I visit and document new worlds. I'm a galactic explorer!

Looking out at the stars, I sometimes wonder what would have happened if that fateful day hadn't occurred. Would I still be sitting in the GalNet Core control center, looking down at the banks of quantum processors as they churned away? Would I be going out to the same places for food, taking the same Orca to and from home? Would I have ever got over my fear of the void if I'd stayed put?

Well, no use wondering about that now. I'm an Elite Explorer, and it's time to fly dangerous! o7
