The New Pilots Initiative


Elite: Dangerous is a game with a steep learning curve and an extremely high skill ceiling. This offers huge benefits in that there is an almost limitless amount of gameplay available. However, it also means that new players often struggle to understand the basics and gain a foothold in the Galaxy. This is where the New Pilots Initiative comes in. We have hugely experienced pilots who act as mentors, answering any questions that new players have and act as guides, wing-mates, and anything else that a new pilot could need. We also have an array of guides which are freely available to anyone who wants them whether it be for themselves or for members of other squadrons.


We cover all different forms of gameplay whether it be combat, exploration, mining, politics, xeno-cryptography, trading, racing and more besides. We are a fully cross-platform squadron with strong membership on Playstation, PC and Xbox, and have players active in timezones all around the world and speaking multiple different languages including English, German, Spanish, Swedish, Arabic and more.
