Cmdr Snappie24 started as a loner in Alliance Space and then made some friends in the independent areas around Glaucus, after mining became too lonely.

He learnt from others vital survival skills and most importantly the power of the collective in his time at another squadron and faction.

The time came to leave and he and friends freelanced for both the Federation and Empire. During this time he discovered a love for exploration on a trip to the Formadine rift.

The group of friends trekked to Colonia region to make a fortune each and while the others returned to the bubble he packed up his carrier and explored the galaxy to Beagle Point, Sag A, up to 16 regions, before returning to the bubble.

The need came to settle down eventually since he group of friends had grown in the meantime and need a place to call home. They formed a squadron, The Proteans, named after a rare flower from earth called a Protea.

They then collected the disgruntled Federation citizens to settle in Orisini as an independent Federation faction with the same name.

The Proteans have grown from a small faction into a considerable force in the neighborhood, with a good number of systems they control under a democratic government.

Cmdr Snappie24 is dedicated to his people, to peace and prosperity in their Federal space, as well as with the neighbours.
