Welcome to the Proteans. We are a Federal squadron and faction unrelated to any Power.

The Proteans are embracing the core values of the Federal Accord with highest integrity. They value the hard working citizens and avoid a welfare state, yet ensuring data security and privacy. The powers failed in 3307 with the rebellion in the Federal systems and citizens from all over Federal space formed The Proteans faction in the Hydra Constellation to return to principles.

From there the faction quickly grew and have their own reasonable size bubble with beautiful planets, gasgiant rings with great resources, stations with lucrative trading, various economies through their space, as well as an Eartlike world and an Amonia World.

Like the rare Protea flower from Earth, they are original and strong, versatile in all: the true meaning of the word protean. Strongly defending their cause with experienced and competent commanders by cooperative trading, mining, exploring galactic wonders or fighting xeno threats; a Protean will always be ready to act.

We are a welcome home for the new, the driven or the laid back commander. We are a breath of fresh air.

We value our commanders and help them advance and learn. We operate with respect and integrity.
