Rebuilt from the FSS Corbulo's Flame II, the FSS Ventus Divinum has been refitted to fill a long range, heavy combat fighter role. Designed to pack a punch, the Ventus is largely an experimental craft, undergoing extensive testing. Boasting an impressive 20 ly jump range as a fighter, so that a crew can quickly move and still move directly into combat without having to retrofit the vessel. At least that was its design, with the acquisition of the Equus Opus, and some additional multi-role vessels, it was decided in 2207 to refit the Divinum into a combat vessel. Currently, the ship is in drydock being refit for its new role.
