Originally constructed with just basic armaments and defences as she was only meant to deal with swarms of Thargoid Scouts, the advances made over the course of the Thargoid war to the armaments she used turned her from a measly Scout killer to a fierce Thargoid Interceptor slayer as well as a veteran of Thargoid conflict zones. Once Thargoid Hunter-Class vessels began to make an appearance, 'The Shield of Leonidas' only became more prevalent and valuable on the battlefield since she did not rely on Guardian technology
