Auxiliary Scout Vessel
The ASV Silver Hind is a fairly new vessel deemed to replace the ES Arethusa as the mainstay exploration ship. While it is less capable in terms of jump range, it compensates for its greater versatility and can carry small amounts of cargo during expeditions. It is also used as an errand vessel under the Federal Auxiliary Navy, taking on data transfer and communication missions between Federation star systems.
