Departing Colonia

26 Jun 2018Exorcist
Yesterday was the first time I have visited Colonia. After cruising around and enjoying the richness of the nebula against the backdrop of space, I set up in orbit around Jacques Station. I must admit that I was initially disappointed in the experience. The station itself seemed to not live up to its hype. Although I can imagine the thrill that the Commander who discovered it must have felt. Jacque, the cyborg (don’t call him a robot), runs the station and is a gracious host. Still, the experience was enriching and made for some great video footage.

After that, it was off to the next waypoint on our expedition. Although I didn’t quite make it before I found an amazing little star system and have taken a break to look for volcanism on one of its many, many moons.

There’s iron magma on the moon I’m searching, so hopefully this system will end up being a gold mine with volcanism and the fact that every planet (minus the moons) have rings.
Do you like it?
