The Buur Pit Squadron is a family friendly and welcoming squadron for new and veteran CMDRs alike.


Who are we looking for?

We are recruiting PVE players. New players and veterans welcome. Players seeking an inclusive and friendly atmosphere to further their enjoyment of everything the game has to offer.

The Buurian Protectorate

The Buur Pit Squadron is a defensive force of rangers that acts on behalf of the Buurian Protectorate in the Tewanta System.

Home of the only known collection of domesticated, cave dwelling, freshwater Buurboons. Until recently these shy creatures were farmed for their fur but, after being liberated by the protectorate, recent generations have flourished and have developed a voracious appetite for earthly confections, leading to the development of Buurboon friendly cakes and pies.  As a result the protectorate complex also houses a colossal bakery with an associated cafeteria for visiting tourists.

The Protectorate is independently funded by highly organized mining operations via The Buur Pit Mining Company (BPMC). In a no less organized manner, Boonrangers and mercenaries work to maintain our security and sphere of influence.

What do we do?

We organize regular squadron events across all aspects of the game for players of all experience levels, professionalism not required.

If you are a new player, our community will be a good place to learn, make friends and enjoy what the game has to offer with like-minded people.

We play mainly in the PVE-only Buur private group where our events are hosted. Some members do play in Open, Solo or other groups, attendance in the PG is not mandatory.

Further activities include, but is not limited to, mining, bgs manipulation, trade, bounty hunting, exploration and general shenanigans.

The Rules

For us the rules are fairly simple to follow, and mainly come down to common sense:

Do not grief other players (this also applies to Open play mode while having our squadron tag)
Do not harass other players
Be respectful to all pilots
Help out other players where you can
Ask for help if you need it
Be sure to have fun!


Join us!

To join us, simply send a request to join through Inara and tell us a little bit about yourself. Note: verified account and CMDR name required, empty applications will be denied.

While not mandatory, it is highly recommended to be on our discord server (NOTE, Discord membership is required for in-game squadron membership). This is where all communication (with us and other CMDRs) and event organization takes place. Strict family friendly rules apply.
