This week's been an interesting one.I boarded the pirate carrier Scumpy Dock - yes, pirate carrier - and headed off to Cmdr ThatEnglishGent's recently-discovered LTD4 system. There, oddball1975, Gent and myself engaged in PvP piracy for a bit ... or didn't. The entire system is devoid of human life, except for the hundred-plus carriers.
After many hours, we got bored and started shooting at each other. Golden Hinde, though not a PvP ship, held off the attacks of Oddball and Gent for as long as she could, sending Oddball back to the shipyard, but the tough, tough hull on Gent's Type 10 allowed him to shrug off the damage I was inflicting for long enough to knock out Hinde - the first time that's happened in about twenty months, by my recollection, quite an impressive feat given the amount of combat she's been in during that period.
